Chapter 129: Fort Eger

The fort loomed in the distance as Talon and the rest of the scout team, together with their vampire prisoners, were getting closer to the fort.

Their horses were exhausted from their long and tiring trip, but their journey was close to over as they reached the fort in ten minutes of a ride.

Before they stood almost six meters in both length and width. 

"The members of the Fourth Scout Regiment are back, open the gates!" Shouted one of the soldiers at the top of the walls, he saw the scouts getting closer.

After that, a couple of seconds of silence followed, only broken by the loud creaking of the metal door slowly opening before them.

After it fully opened, the scouts began to go into the fortress on the back of their horses.

As they entered Fort Eger's interior, soldiers engaged in training near the designated area on the left of the gate cast sidelong glances at the scouts.
