Chapter 109: Close to Dawn

The vampire noble lay dead on the ground, even his corpse was burning with the blood-red flames, slowly melting away everything.

Both Talon and Quinn staggered to the ground, both of them used up a heavy amount of their Chroma Reserves.

"Are you alright?" Asked Talon.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Answered Quinn while breathing heavily.

"I was Talking to Moonless, not you." Said Talon, only angering Quinn while Moonless flew into his palm, rubbing her head into his palms.

"Talon you bastard!" Shouted Quinn which immediately made Talon chuckle before both of them turned solemn.

"Let's go to the others." Said Talon as both of them weakly got off the ground, their Chroma reserves were used up but the others were still in danger.

"I'm going to get to my brother." Said Quinn before rushing towards the source of light in the sky that they previously saw while Talon began to rush towards the Marketplace.
