Chapter 67: Lead

"Did you manage to learn anything?" Asked Thorn as soon as she saw Talon return to their run-down room that everyone had to share.

"Nothing much, but I've got a lead." Said Talon, his face beaming with joy, which made the others have a big expectation of the news.

"The old man knows something, he only needs me to do a job for him in return." 

Hearing this, their head dropped, except Thorn's as her face lit up just like Talon's.

"That's amazing news, we will be done with this sooner than we would have thought."

The others just stared at the two with eyes full of pity, while none of them wanted to be harsh to them, not even Rokara, Quinn had to confront the two.

"Talon… Thorn… are you two both completely insane?" Asked Quinn while burying his face into his palms, not believing the naivety of the two before him.

"What are you talking about?" Asked Talon, both genuinely confused and somewhat angry.
