Chapter 44: Rondorian Negotiation

The first to attack Paul were the members of the royal guard. Behind them, Sir Cedric stared at Paul with an emotionless face.

One of the guards rushed straight at Paul, his sword already drawn and ready to strike down the old gifted.

But before the guard could even reach him, one of the rusted chains struck him in the sides, shattering his heavy plate armor and sending him flying away with a loud bang as the metal of the plate shattered when clashing with the chain.

He flew towards one of the stone pillars inside the throne room, colliding with it at full force. 

With a resounding loud crack in the room, the sound of his bones shattering echoed. 

Blood flew from the mouth of the Royal Guard, but he had not received any life-threatening wounds.
