Chapter 40: Demon Lord Buki
Yuma's eyes slowly open as he's alone in a prison cell on the battleship. Looking around at the rusting metal walls and door looking into a hallway.
"I could probably escape this… but I'm too exhausted…" Yuma looks up at the ceiling. His pink hair was long and his horns had grown longer. He wasn't sure where he was going. Was he gonna be executed or just sent to prison? Suddenly somone glared at Yuma from the hallway. Yuma glaring back.
"What do you want?" the man had his eyes covered with a shadow as he smiled.
"I'm on your side… I can provide secret intel until they drop you off at the basilisk stronghold" Yuma raises an eyebrow.
"Why should I trust you?" The man looks away.
"You don't have to… that's your choice… but I'll warn you… If you wanna escape the stronghold, it's 50 miles below sea level with only one way down but it's heavily guarded. I'm one of the guards that'll take you down… and I'm willing to show you the way out… But you're gonna have to wait a bit so it's not suspicious… I'll notify you when the time is right'' The man walks away leaving Yuma to himself. Looking down as a large maniacal smile forms.
Yuma stands up, his knees popping and creaking after sitting on the uncomfortable floor. Walking behind the guards in cuffs. Getting thrown into a glass case before the gaurds slam the glass door and leave.
"I could break out if I wanted too… but I couldn't… even with my strength I couldn't take all these guards…" The cage starts moving. The water flowing outside the cell. Fish swiming underwater. Some with gills, others breathing like humans. Plant life sprawling under the light conditions. Vines, kelp, and coral all grow peacefully as Yuma sits down.
"I wonder what Cani and Iteyi are doing right now…" Yuma watches the ocean floor come closer.
Cani struggles to withstand the restraints.
"I'll never surrender!!" a massive explosion of heat erupts from the island. Trees and plants burn to crisps as gaurds and commanders alike hit the ground.
"Don't let her escape!" Cani runs full speed through the trees. Turning around, her eyes widen in horror as Admiral Moon floats there. The light of the sun behind Moon reflected in her eyes, like a Solar Eclipse. Moon slamming her into the ground. Cani's eyes go blank. Moon stumbling to his feet.
"These pests are getting annoying…" An officer runs over to the Admiral.
"Moon Sir!" Moon glares.
"Report Soldier" The officer nods.
"Boombox or Iteyi Kumiguzaki is attempting to escape!" Admiral Moon grits his teeth and falls to one knee.
"I won't make it in time… send Admiral Bru instead…" The officer nods and rushes away. Moon coughing a bit.
"Stupid-" Admiral Moon punches himself in the face. A strong aura rising from his eyes.
"I might… have to accept… Buki's deal!" Admiral Moon smashes the ground as his back starts bleeding.
"I can't… Let the World succumb… to the fate… of my island!"
[18 years ago - 2 years after the Infinite Sea appeared]
A young boy with short black hair and grey eyes looks up in horror as a massive wall of flames engulf his island. Tightly closing his eyes as suddenly he's forced to the ground. Struggling as he clenches his fist. Looking up as a giant 16 foot tall girl stands in front of him. Short but spikey red hair, bright red eyeshadow. Her eyes were solid black with a white star in the middle. Yet they still emmit an ominous red glow.
