Chapter 37: Row, row, row your boats

By Alistair's command, the guards strode forward and took Sir Xavier by force.

Once Xavier's men noticed that the prince was involved, they fled the scene at once, leaving behind their master to face the consequences of his overwhelming greed.

Xavier was made to kneel before the prince. His arms were pulled behind him and his face paled, noticing that the prince himself wanted to honor the request of the woman.

Had he known that she was a woman of the prince, he would not have crossed the limits. He would have retreated when she had threatened them, but Xavier didn't because he assumed that she was lying.

Alistair dismounted his horse. He beckoned on his bodyguard to hold it in place in his stead. He then waltzed towards the man kneeling on the ground. In Alistair's hand was his dagger which he was swinging meticulously, all the while, instilling fear in the man.
