Chapter 36: Attacked

After spending some time with her best friend's family in Ardenia, Celeste chose to return to her castle. Her mother must be anxious about her.

She bid the Ardenians farewell and went along with the carriage sent by her father.

Sitting in the carriage, her arms were over the window. Her fingers tapped on her head gently as she wriggled in the carriage.

Celeste couldn't understand why she wasn't allowed to use magic. She could've made use of the portal and would've gotten home in no time.

Since the accident when she was younger, she has been prohibited from using magic.

Celeste believed that she was mature, as she would turn eighteen the following year.

Her brain had developed much better than it did in those days, and she was capable of taking responsibility for her actions.

A tree branch grazed her hands, causing her to frown.

She could bear with this, she thought inwardly.
