Even if she was invited to the opening, she didn't want to go. For a couple of days, her disinterest in doing anything had been excessive. She tossed and turned on her bed until she was facing the humongous chandelier dangling above her and her eyes remained on it diving deep in her thoughts.

Her life had been going smoothly and easily. She's partied and had done almost everything she wanted to do so much. She'd travelled around the world, met different people as she had always wanted and had almost forgotten about him until that party in Dubai happened.

There she was standing amidst boring and sophisticated jerks suited as individuals; as expected in wealthy gatherings. She's had her first and second glass and was going for the third when something that took her breath away happened. He strolled in.
