Chapter 147: Divorce Served

After Zyair dropped Skyla home that night, she slept peacefully. She had promised him she would try to be strong and she had decided to keep that promise. She couldn't call him every time she had a panic attack. They couldn't meet again for a while now.

"Hey! Girl, I am heading out to work. I have prepared your breakfast. Eat it and call me if there is anything." Huria gently stroked Skyla's red hair as she stirred awake.

"Morning! You are leaving?" Skyla asked with a hint of panic in her voice.

"I will be back early, I have a very urgent meeting today otherwise I wouldn't be going. I will speak to Mr Rais and will take a few days off. Kail is outside, he won't let anyone in. Don't worry." Huria held her friend's shoulders and reassured her.

"Alright, I will wait for you," Skyla offered her friend a smile, letting her know she was not panicking.
