"What the heck is wrong with everyone? Why are you not saying anything?" Alexander yelled looking at the men in black before him. Of course he'd agreed to send off his son but not just foolishly, how was he to trust his one and only son in the hands of someone he din't know whether to fully trust or not?
He had secretly sent his son with a group of guards to ensure they detected the specific area his son would be dropped off to. However, the bunch of useless men came back with zero information. Oh how frustrating.
How did they expect him to relax without the full copy of his son's whereabouts? "I don't know how, when or where but I need you guys to find out where my son is. I want to know how he is and every single details about him." Alexander ordered sending them off.
In his mind was real chaos, Myra was no where to be seen and his wife kept inquiring about both her children but of course Seb was her major area of concern.
Sebastian was her real flesh and blood unlike Myra who was a fruit of her husband's foolish encounter with some slut outside. According to her, Seb's behavior had never been his fault rather a transfer of character by bloodline.
No one had the right to correct or punish her son apart from her. She gave birth to him so he was her's and only her's to pamper or do whatever she could do but no one else. Alexander could only frustrated her baby boy over her dead body.
She would forever pamper, spoil and protect her son from evey harm but this time around she was foolishly outsmarted. She parked her son's possession and sent him off herself. Little did she know that she was sending him off the the pits of hell on earth.
Her son had been reduced from a prince to a beggar, a street wonderer with no where to stay yet she enjoyed her luxurious life unaware.
On the other hand, Quan was stressed. Something was definitely not right, of course he wanted to punish Sebastian but he would do it his way. That boy was still his childhood friend and seeing him so distant meant something else.
He had tried to contact him for quite some time now but the response was still the same. "The number you have called is no longer in service." What the heck? That was so not Sebastian.
He tried to get some spicy information from one of his spies between Seb's men but he f*king knew nothing aside from a trip. Seb was not on a trip that I was sure. He would use his own means to find him. Punishment could come afterwards.
Maddy and his madness could no longer wait patiently for Seb's return. His main fears were Quan, had he finally set his filthy hands on Seb? Well Quan was able, he was a gangster while Seb was the states spoiled only son.
If he really did something terrible to his friend he would have him to face. Quan was never his friend to begin with, he only got attached to him back in highschool because somehow, he had managed to gain Seb's trust.
He would gain Seb's trust and somehow manipulate him but he would never win his trust. He had grown up to hate the Void's and that would forever be case, he was just very good at acting and so Quan would never figure out his real feelings towards him.
If the first family was his target then he'll have him to contest with. He turned to his group of selected men. He had three teams set aside. The first team he would send to every streets and country he knew Seb liked to visit and of course first would be Morocco.
The second team he would oder to ensure Myra's safety whenever she went and the last group would watch Quan's move from time to time. Where he went, whatever he did and whatever he planned to do was to be reported to him.
"Boss what about you?" One of the men asked concerned. How could he distribute them to ensure other people's safety not caring about himself?
Of course Mad was directed by his madness, the level of madness which lied to him that he needed zero protection. Madness that told him he could protect himself despite any danger. And madness that lied to him that no one would never have him for a target.
Oh! how foolish of him, he just gave Mr Delavu the best opportunity to get back at him. The old man had contested for the gubernatorial seat together with Maddy's father and to his utter disappointment, people loved his brother more than him.
To avoid future competition between his son and Mad, he would better kill him before the election time was set. His family had enjoyed political luxury and recognition for quite a long time, it was time for a new begging for him and his family.
Delavu never identified his brothers family as his own family and he'd always been driven by greed and thirst for money. All he wanted was power and nothing else.
He was happy for his allie, with his support he'd finally managed to get rid of his stumbling block. Seeing Sebastian off the way meant that he'd equally succeed in his mission. His allies would ensure of that and they were only waiting for the right opportunity to strike.
Sebastian
I find it hard to comprehend that, in the past, I was exclusively superior to everyone else. I only needed to say one word to silence everyone.
Here I was, trailing Domain into a dimly lit rental home. While every house in the neighborhood was occupied, there were not any that I found to be particularly pleasant. Our house was on the fourth floor, so I sighed as I climbed into an old elevator.
Cluck, clang, clang
My heart had been skipping beats for a while, so I held tight to the sides of the elevator. My valuable life was in jeopardy, and that thing was f*king old. I could feel the icy cold sweat trickle down my brow and land on my sensual pink lips.
"Nobody, try acting like a man." I was disgusted by the name "nobody" on me for no apparent reason after hearing Domain say it. I was Sebastian Yates, the sole legitimate heir to the Yates family, and I was not an insignificant person.
How in the world could I be so unworthy? "Hello, my name is Sebastian. Feel free to refer to me as a nobody once more. I will be more than capable of removing that damn hair from your head." I said as I opened the door to the shady room and moved ahead of her.
"WTF, hello, are you expecting us to stay here?" With a disgusted look around the room, I asked. It was filthy, covered in spiderwebs and dust from a millennium or more. When was the last time that old apartment was occupied?
"Sebastian, or whoever you call yourself, get yourself together and let us get our asses to work. We have been through worse." Domain explained, placing our small bag on the floor, that we had just returned from a quick shopping trip with the coins she discovered during her search.
At least for the first time since my father abandoned me, I was able to change my clothes.
"As you wish, my lady." I said, trying to make my ass work. With her strict guidelines, I swept the floor and with plenty of water and some soapy detergent she mopped the house.
"It's sparkling clean Domain, I finally feel comfortable." I complemented both our hardworks but of course it was all thanks to her unending spirit.
With the little we bought, she set the kitchen, my room and finally hers. "Take the room and I'll take the coach." I said grabbing the thin shits to use as a blanket.
"As agreed, I'll use the coach Sebastian." She said and I din't find it right.
"Just call me brother instead." I corrected as a matter of fact, I din't like the identity of a nobody neither did I want her to call me Seb. Brother would definitely be better for that case.
"I'll go find a job tomorrow," I said looking at the small window in the room. "It's the only way to survive and ensure that we're not kicked out of this place." I said standing to leave the seat and relax room heading straight to my room.
"I bought us something for dinner, you can't sleep on an empty stomach brother." She said and I mused. So she really cared about me? Does such really exist? I never cared for anyone apart from myself and that's how I've always been growing up.
No one was worth my concern, not even Myra my sister. All I really cared for was myself and nothing much.
"Thank you siz." I said sitting on the couch right beside her because it was the only thing in that small room. I watched as she headed straight to the kitchen and came back with two packed tins.
Of course I could tell that the meals were from a some shady and unhealthy place. I remembered the last time I ate from such place under the influence of Myra but what happened afterwards was so uncalled for.
It's not like I had a choice anyway, it could be the only meal available for a whole week or maybe a month who knows. To increase my chances of survival I had to dig in.
My teath had trouble bitting and slicing through those hard pieces of meat. I could feel pain and close my eyes tightly whenever I wanted to bite one.
"Take this one, it's soft and easy for any softie." She said smiling mischievously, I wanted to refuse the offer but it was so tempting that in no time, I shifted to eating from her plate instead and she only watched with a smirk.
"Goodnight." I said walking away and she nodded switching of the lights and covering her body with the shits. I felt pity for her, the weather here was unbearably frigid and the minimum number of blankets one should cover themselves with is at least two.
I din't know much about this city and could only settle to have it as X city just as I was told by some passers by I din't even know. One thing was clear about the city though, the weather would mostly be frigid due to the snow.
The most captivating part of the story is yet to come, just stay tuned for more.
