Chapter 132

So now, Henry, who had 100,000 soul essences extracted from 100,000 people—yes, that's the number of people he killed, mostly soldiers from enemy countries, he had killed a lot more but he didn't extract their essence, SHIELD, HAND and HYDRA—oh yes, he wiped them off the face of the Earth. So now, Henry could regenerate both his soul and body, and even if someone somehow managed to bypass those abilities, he could still come back to life, while also being able to grow stronger the more hits he endures, generate heat that reaches 500,000 degrees Celsius, control lightning, use telekinesis, telepathy, and of course, that wasn't enough for Henry the Alchemist,no, not even close, so he created another potion. Well, all of these potions were projects he had in mind, but he finished them.

[Name: Null Physiology Elixir]

Project Null granted Henry the Null Physiology, which, aside from giving him a beyond superhuman body as a base, and still growing stronger the more hits he endures, allowed him to nullify and absorb external or internal powers as well as being immune to reality warping. So, yeah, Henry is technically a god in this universe, which is why he was walking in the void like it's nobody's business, using his newfound fire generation to melt mundane metal and preparing for his two last projects: Project Magnum Opus and Henry's last project, Project God. The title changed here and there depending on his mood. The ultimate weapon and armor were already near completion, so they could be considered done, meaning that Henry is quite close to achieving the task given to him by Goldie. So, yeah, Henry is taking his sweet time collecting metals to create a large amount of alchum.

Of course, he couldn't do things in peace as he sensed the presence of something peculiar. He turned around, and not far away, he saw a massive, swirling cloud of living smoke, devouring anything in its path. It moved like a predator, and it was. "Alioth, the predator at the end of time that absorbs nearly everything," Henry said as he floated up, smirking. "Your ability to devour would fit nicely with my Magnum Opus." He then floated toward the timeline-devouring cloud. The moment he appeared inside, he immediately began to break down into dust, both physically and spiritually, but his body recovered in an instant, each time faster, stronger, more durable.

Seeing this, Henry smirked as he thought, "Well, let's get this started." While being destroyed, he activated his MP before activating his essence extraction skill on Alioth, which immediately caused it to wail in pain. But Henry continued extracting its essence, making the creature wail and wail in agony for 100 minutes straight. When those minutes passed, Henry, now far stronger than ever before, stood inside the clouds of Alioth, who tried to retreat but was unable to. As Henry felt his newfound strength, he muttered, "This is addicting," feeling the raw power in his body growing each time he regenerated. "Let's continue, shall we?" Henry said aloud, causing Alioth to wail just from hearing his voice.

[Some time later]

Henry didn't bother keeping track of time. Once he had a tank full of Alioth's essence, he finally decided to exit. The poor creature looked like it wanted to commit suicide. When Henry landed on the ground, the ground beneath him shattered into a crater. "Oh," he said with a smirk, before suddenly noticing something—a building. It appeared to be a grand, looming fortress with a distinctly otherworldly design. Its architecture blended gothic and futuristic elements, characterized by towering spires and intricate, alien-like carvings that hinted at a civilization far beyond ordinary human comprehension. The color scheme of the Citadel was a mixture of dark purples, deep blues, and iridescent blacks, which shifted subtly with the ambient light. "Oh," Henry said as he floated up toward the Citadel, unconcerned as he entered.

As Henry stepped into the Citadel at the End of Time, he was immediately enveloped by an atmosphere of ancient grandeur and otherworldly mystery. The interior was a vast expanse that stretched far beyond the limits of conventional architecture, its design a fusion of opulent gothic elements and futuristic technology.

The entrance hall Henry found himself in was enormous, with a ceiling that seemed to vanish into the abyss above. The walls were adorned with intricate, shifting patterns of glowing runes and symbols that pulsed rhythmically, casting an ethereal light across the vast space. Giant, towering columns, sculpted with detailed, alien motifs, lined the perimeter of the hall. These columns reached up toward the ceiling, their surfaces reflecting the ambient glow of the runes. The columns were interspersed with enormous, arching doorways, each framed by ornate, otherworldly carvings that hinted at forgotten civilizations and cosmic entities.

The floor beneath Henry's feet was a smooth, black material that seemed to absorb light rather than reflect it. It was interspersed with veins of shimmering, silvery light that traced intricate patterns, resembling the flow of cosmic energy or the strands of time itself. As Henry moved, his footsteps made a muted sound, the floor absorbing the noise in a manner that felt both isolating and contemplative.

Suspended in mid-air were floating platforms and bridges, connected by glowing energy beams that formed temporary pathways. These platforms moved slowly and gracefully, shifting and reconfiguring themselves as if responding to Henry's presence and the ebb and flow of temporal energies. The floating platforms and bridges gave the impression that the interior of the Citadel was in a constant state of flux, reflecting the timeless nature of its existence.

A/N: Well, another chapter, and Henry has finally finished the middle projects, which just leaves three projects: the weapon, the armor projects, and of course, the Tier 9 potion, which is the limit of any potion that can be created. And yes, the next chapter is going to contain some lore.

A/N: Turns out yesterday's question (which I 100% definitely didn't have a reason for asking) was a dumb question. Of course, it's Raven.
