"Pan'er, your mom talks a lot. Don't take it to heart. Just live your life well, got it? Your parents will head back first."
"Got it! Dad, Mom, just take it easy."
Su Lao Si is clearly a little drunk, muttering nonstop as he strides away.
Assisted by Mrs. Su-Hua, the pair walk hand in hand towards home.
After watching them disappear into the distance, until she can no longer see the faint glimmer of their torch, Su Pan'er finally turns to enter the house.
Ke'er is curled up asleep on a chair. She snickers at the sight and scoops him up to take him to his room.
Ke'er smiles even in sleep, prompting Su Pan'er to stroke his head affectionately. "You cheeky thing!" she exclaims softly. She pinches his rosy cheek before tucking him up and leaving the room.
While sleeping, Ke'er rubs his small face into the pillow, changing into a more comfortable position before slipping back into deep slumber.
