As soon as Venia vanished from the dining room, I dragged Selene out of the dining room. I knew that I shouldn't have talked to Venia like that. It didn't. care, I just couldn't side with someone against Selene is the present of everyone.

"Let go of my hand," Selene said, trying to break free from my grip.

"You are becoming more and more troublesome by the day," I said, dragging her through the hallway toward her room

"Can't you just understand that no matter what you do, no matter how you nag or shout from now until the day you die, I won't let you leave this place, we're bonded together," I've repeated these words to Selene countless times but still she decides to protest and do things as she likes

Selene didn't utter a single word. She stared at me with her big eyes. "You like trouble, right? You are hell-bent on humiliating me in the presence of everyone. I tightened my grip on her hand but I was careful not to hurt her"

"She started it. If she hadn't insulted me, then I wouldn't have poured the drink on her clothes," Selene defended herself.

"You still have the audacity to claim, right? What the hell is wrong with you Selene" I said and creaked open the door of her room. She said to break free from my grip, but her strength was nothing compared to my strength.

I pushed her into the room, causing her to fall to the floor. "Argh!" Selene growled in pain and I scanned her body to see if there were any bruises on her body

"You see, I can't get what exactly your problem is... Is it that you think you can escape me," I continued "Whenever I set my mind on something, I'll surely do it and I'll get it... I always get what I want Selene and you're not exempted, the quicker you stop resisting, the better for you"

I paced back and forth in the room, feeling Selene's gaze on me. I touched her hair comb that was resting on the vanity and I brought it up to my nose to feel the fragrance of the comb in my nose.

"Such wonderful scent," I uttered. "It's a shame that you won't willingly let me hold and have you," I added and turned to face her. I bit my lips in frustration as I clutched my fingers together, forming a tight fist.

"What the hell is wrong with you Selene" I yelled, I couldn't hold it any longer, I just couldn't bear to see my prey in front of me and I couldn't hold her, she was making it a habit of annoying me

"Haven't you heard of the people that have disobeyed me before? Do you know how they end up? Have you bothered to ask, huh?" I asked sternly, "No? You didn't bother to ask but instead, you constantly piss me off, looking for ways to get on my nerves"

"I'll tell you something, listen carefully because I'll only be saying this once, those who disobey and disrespect me end up being killed and I usually have their head for dinner," I said, I saw the fright in her eyes and her fingers were shaking. I didn't want to make her afraid of me. I wanted her to respect and love me.

I sighed and walked closer to the bed. "Venia and I have known each other for a long time now and what I did today was surprising to everyone, don't ever put me in a situation where I have to choose," I uttered

"But you didn't waste time but chose me and besides don't sound like a Savior in front of me because I see how you act around Venia," she finally said after entering the room

I scoffed and walked closer to her, without taking my eyes off her, "Indeed you've grown wings, how I act with Venia is perfect in the eyes of everyone because with them, it'll seem like I'm a monster" A dry laugh escaped my lips and I brought my cold hands closer to her face and I pulled the strands of hair that fell on her face backward

I could feel her hot breath on my skin because I was so close to her. She took two steps backward, causing me to chuckle.

"Venia has been the only person that got a bit close to me and here I am giving you the opportunity she never had and you're playing with me, you want to escape from me, it's funny how you think that you can do that," Another dry laugh escaped my lips

"I just want to go home." Her words made the anger that I've been trying to surpass come back again with full force. I've been trying hard to surpass my dark demons for her.

"Shut up, Selene, shut your mouth up. Don't fucking mention that word again. This is your home!!! The faster you realize that, the better for you" I yelled moving over to the vanity it anger, I clutched my fingers together to form a tight fist and I pushed all the things on the vanity to the floor causing them to make a shattering sound.

"What the hell is wrong with you Selene, do you fucking know how many girls would die to be in the position that you're in? Have I been patient with you? Yes, but still you keep on repeating that same word" I paused and turned to see the fear in her eyes, her legs and hands were shaking and it was evident that she was doing her best to continue standing so that she wouldn't look weak in front of me. Her big eyes stared into my eyes, causing my heart to soften

"Start considering this place as your home, Selene..." Like the speed of light, I felt her soft lips on mine. Fuck!!! I couldn't comprehend what was happening, She kissed me!
