Hazel looked even more stunning than a celebrity on TV.

It didn't look like she was holding a press conference. This was clearly a demonstration.

Lyra was upset and felt more anxious than ever.

Ever since Hazel came back, Chase had been treating her more coldly.

"Mom, look at Hazel's smug face! Do something! Don't let her get so cocky!"

Amara swallowed heavily, snorted, and swore, "Relax. Let her think that she has had her way first. Her plummet awaits her in a couple of days. By the way, have you been in touch with Mr. Black in the past two days?"

Lyra's eyes darkened when she heard that.

Chase hadn't called her in two days.

Lyra sighed exasperatedly.

"Why the frustration? You should strike while the iron is hot. In case of any undesirable complication, the matter between you and Mr. Black shouldn't be put off any longer. If we keep stalling, I don't know what's going to happen!"
