Chapter 11: Chapter Ten - October 1, 1971.
September had passed, giving way to October.
At Hogwarts, the students were walking to their respective classes, except for two groups, one with Professor McGonagall and the other making a joke.
I of course am not with Professor McGonagall, and it's not because I wanted to be, but because Potter gave me no choice.
A few minutes ago.
I was with Marlene, Alice, and Frank, walking down the corridors to get to our next class.
Suddenly, Sirius ran past us.
- "What's he doing," - Asked Marlene.
- "He's probably late for class," - Said Alice, shaking her head.
- "He's going with us, Alice?" - Replied the blonde.
- "I'm sure it's a prank," - Answered Frank to the blonde's question.
- "But he's alone," - I pointed out that detail to the others, because of course they never played pranks alone.
Suddenly, Remus walked past and went to the same place as Sirius.
- "There you go," - Said Alice.
James walked past me and stopped in his tracks, turned around, and looked at me. - "Beautiful Lily," - Said Potter.
- "I'm Evans to you, Potter," - I said to James.
Hearing Frank's laughter, I turned to look at them, and found Marlene in front of Alice pretending to be James and Alice with her hand raised, saying "I'm Evans to you, Potter".
- "Girls," - I caught their attention when I saw what they were doing.
They looked at me innocently. I looked back at James, he was looking at me like a fool.
- "Potter, what are you doing," - I asked.
- "Sirius wants to play a prank," - He replied as if it was nothing.
- "Shouldn't you be with him," - I said, raising an eyebrow.
- "Oh, that's right, I have to go with Sirius," - He stared at me for a while, - "Beautiful Evans, wouldn't you like to come with me?"
- "I don't..." - I couldn't finish speaking as James grabbed my wrist and started to run.
- "Marlene go and tell Professor McGonagall, I'll follow James and Lily," - Said Alice quickly as she watched them walk away.
- "Right." - Said the blonde, starting to run in the opposite direction from Lily.
While Alice went the way James went, Lily followed. Frank followed her.
With Marlene.
Marlene turned the corner of a corridor and ran into Severus.
- "Severus," - She said, trying to regulate her breathing.
- "Marlene, and Lily?"
- "James took her away."
Severus furrowed his eyebrows. - "Where?" - I could tell from his voice that he was annoyed.
- "I don't know, Alice is following them, and I'm going to tell Professor McGonagall."
- "I'll come with you."
With Lily and James.
- "Potter, let go of me already."'How come he's so strong?'
- "Come on, Evans, you'll have fun," - He said with a smile on his lips.
- "Potter, you and I have different concepts of fun," - I said, rolling my eyes.
- "Then you'll have to see how I do it."
With Alice and Frank.
- "Quick, Frank," - Said Alice when she no longer saw her friend up ahead.
On the floor there was a small round ball, Frank stepped on the ball, causing him to fall.
Alice heard the noise and turned around to find Frank sprawled on the floor.
- "Frank!" - She went over to help him, - "Are you all right?"
- "Yes, I am okay," - He said as he stood up.
Alice looked at him to make sure nothing was wrong.
- "Well, let's keep going," - He said as he turned around to move on.
Alice took two steps and when she didn't see the ball, she stepped on it and fell.
- "Ouch."
- "Alice," - Frank walked over to Alice and looked her up and down to make sure she was okay.
When he saw that she was okay, he helped her up.
- "I'm fine, let's just watch our step."
With that said, they continued to chase after Lily and James.
Back with Marlene and Severus.
They were coming up to the teacher's office, but around the corner, her voice was heard.
- "Well, tell me where Sirius Black is," - Asked Professor McGonagall with a serious look on her face.
- "Breaking the rules," - Said little Pettigrew as he received that look from his teacher.
- "Where is young Lupin?" - Continued the teacher's interrogation.
- "He's stopping Sirius from breaking the rules."
- "OK, and where is Potter?" - She asked again.
- "Trying to stop Remus from stopping Sirius from breaking the rules," - Answered Peter.
- "If they're over there, why are you here?"
- "I'm stopping you from stopping James from stopping Remus from stopping Sirius from breaking the rules," - Replied the little Gryffindor, not realizing that he was giving his teacher a headache.
Before McGonagall could say anything, Marlene spoke. - "Professor McGonagall."
- "Miss Mackenna, Mr. Snape, what's wrong?"
- "It's just that me, Lily, Alice, and Frank were on our way to our next class when James appeared and took Lily away."
- "And where is Miss Max?"
- "Going after Lily, who is led away by James."
- "And Mr. Longbottom?"
- "Going after Alice, who is going after Lily, who is being carried by James."
- "And Mr. Snape, why is he with you?"
- "I met him on the way and told him what happened."
- "Well, Miss Mackenna, which way did they go?"
She thought before she spoke. - "To the Great Hall."
- "Right, Mr. Pettigrew, I want you in my office and you two go to your classes."
Professor McGonagall went in the direction of the Great Hall and Peter to the office.
- "You had to put it that way," - Severus said irritably.
- "I couldn't help it," - Said the blonde innocently.
In the Great Hall.
When they entered the Great Hall, they found Sirius running away from Remus.
James saw that and went after Remus to stop him from getting to Sirius.
- "Sirius, stop that," - Said Remus.
- "What's going on?"
- "You see redhead, I'm going to play a joke on the snakes," - Said the Black.
- "You know I'm a snake."
- "Yeah, but you're the nice type." - At no time did he stop running while they were talking.
- "How can you be so sure," - She asked.
Before he could say anything, the doors opened and Alice and Frank walked through.
- "Lily," - She looked at the boys, - "What are they doing?"
Lily turned her gaze to the boys and found James on Remus's back, covering his eyes, and Sirius putting something on the chairs.
- "Sirius, stop it," - She yelled at him.
- "I'm sorry, redhead, but no!"
Then she started running towards him.
When he saw her coming, he started to run away from her.
- "Coward, don't run away," - She said as she followed him.
Two people passed by the door and when they heard the shout they came in.
- "What are they doing?"
Alice turned around to find Narcissa with a tall girl, with black hair waves, white skin, black eyes, and wearing Slytherin robes.
- "Well, Lily is trying to stop Sirius from playing a prank and James is trying to stop Remus from stopping Sirius," - Alice replied calmly.
- "Narcissa, catch him," - She shouted at the newcomer.
Narcissa looked over and saw Sirius heading towards her.
Before she could do anything, the girl next to her caught Sirius.
- "I got you."
- "Bella!"
Lily walked up to Sirius and pulled out what he was holding.
- "Evans!"
- "I'll take this, okay," - She said to Sirius as she winked.
- "Professor McGonagall is coming," - Frank announced from the doorway.
When James heard that, he ran towards Sirius, pulling him and making Bella let go of him.
- "Run Sirius."
Before he left, he grabbed Lily again and started to run.
- "Potter let go of me already."
The next thing the other students saw was Sirius and James running ahead of everyone Lily was dragged by James, Remus following Sirius and James, Alice chasing Lily, Frank chasing Alice, and Narcissa dragged Bella in pursuit.
Then when things calmed down, meaning Professor McGonagall took Sirius, James, and Remus away, Narcissa introduced her older sister Bellatrix, a senior.
Lily, upon hearing who she was, was screaming inside as she had a love/hate thing for her, so she promised herself that she would help her and not end up like in Harry Potter.
