NATALIE'S POV:

He leans over, stroking my jawline with the back of his palm and caressing every spot.

"What wish did you make?" He demands, wide-eyed.

I don't speak, not wanting to incur his wrath. Sensing my hesitation, he tilts my chin upward so I can look him in the eyes.

"Natalie, what wish did you make?" He repeats, this time slowly, laying emphasis on each word. "I want to be certain I can make it come to pass."
