Chapter 26: CHAPTER TWENTY-SIX

I keep still, not wanting to generate another sound no matter how little.

My vision worsens whenever I move and my head is spinning a great deal.

She hesitates for a while, as she doesn't speak nor is her footstep heard.

"Is anyone there?" She inquires calmly.

With each step being calculated, I rush out of the storage room, fleeing to the far end and trying my best not wanting to give myself off like someone running away from something or ending up collapsing due to exhaustion.

In about a few minutes, I will be out and on the road that leads to the kitchen. If my calculation is right, Linda will be in the same direction towards the storage room to clear her doubt, knowing the grave crime she's just committed.
