Chapter 451
Ronald's father, Sandar, had lost the race to become the city head after Ronald ran from the house, so when Ronald appeared in front of him, Sandar couldn't control his anger.
"You bastard!" Sandar angrily yelled and charged at Ronald.
Ronald only stayed there and did nothing to stop his father from attacking him.
"Slap!"
"Ugh!"
A sound rang in the area as Sandar slapped his son. He couldn't help but cry in pain as it hurt him instead of harming Ronald.
A cruel grin spread across Ronald's face, seeing the look of shock on him. He then raised his hand, grabbed Sandar's neck, and picked him up.
Sandar wanted to dodge, but his attempts turned out to be futile in the presence of Ronald's overwhelming speed and strength.
"What are you doing? Put me down. I am your father," Sandar yelled in shock, as even in his dreams, he never expected Ronald to attack him.
Ronald didn't speak anything in response but looked behind him. His younger brother was entering the room.
Since it had been a few decades, the brother didn't recognize Ronald and rushed at him to free his father from Ronald.
The cruel grin on Ronald's face turned wider as when his younger brother was just a step away from him, Ronald used a little pressure on his hands, and the next moment, a cracking sound rang in the area.
Sandar had his eyes wide open as he never expected Ronald to kill him, but unfortunately for him, his hopes came crashing down, and he lost his life.
Ronald then threw the corpse of Sandar toward his younger brother, who attempted to escape, seeing the death of Sandar.
After the death of Sandar, Ronald, without stopping for even a second, started his killing spree.
While he was killing his step-sister, his mother, Rina, found him.
Rina wanted to stop Ronald from committing further killings, but Ronald, ignoring his mother, continued his death spree.
Rina wanted to call for help, but Ronald hit the back of her head and made her unconscious.
"Mother, why did you choose your husband over me?" Ronald asked his mother, as now she was the last alive member in the Turap family, excluding him.
"What do you mean?" Rina asked in response.
"Haha," Ronald didn't say anything but chuckled in response to Rina's question.
"You also loved the privilege that bastard brought you, didn't you?" A few seconds later, Ronald asked.
He then didn't wait for Rina to respond and flicked the top of her head, resulting in her exploding into a blood cloud. The blood before it could touch him burnt into ashes.
After killing every member of the Turap family, Ronald left the city of Rusot. While all this happened, not even a single citizen present there found out.
"Now that your goal is complete, it's time for you to work for the deal," The voice rang inside Ronald's head as he stood at the gate of the city.
"I know, so where should I start with it?" Ronald replied in response to the voice.
"You don't need to do anything except for training for now. I want you to be as strong as possible before the time arrives," The voice replied.
Ronald didn't say anything and disappeared from the place. The next moment, he appeared in one of the worlds inside the space ring.
Time flew by.
In the blink of an eye, centuries went by.
"The time has arrived for you to start working on the deal," The voice rang inside Ronald's head.
Ronald was currently training in one of the worlds inside the space ring.
"Yes, master," Ronald answered. His tone was submissive, entirely different from his previous situations.
The first day Ronald trained in the world inside the space ring, a psychological seed appeared in his consciousness.
The more Ronald trained inside the space ring, the more energy the seed received, and it started germinating.
During his three hundredth year of training, the seed finally germinated into a tree.
The psychological seed only had a single purpose. It was to make the voice the highest figure inside Ronald's consciousness.
When the seed germinated into a complete tree, the voice automatically became the master, and Ronald became the slave.
While all this happened, Ronald stayed completely unaware of it.
The reason he stayed unaware of it was that the psychological seed had no negative effects on Ronald, except for making him feel utmost reverence for the owner of the voice.
***
"This is your key to getting free?" Ronald asked.
He currently stood there in front of a building. In the building, a baby cry rang as a newborn had just been born.
"Yes, the boy may have the shell of an Earthen Troll, but he has the soul of a Primordial," The voice replied.
"What's a Primordial?" Ronald asked in surprise, as even the voice didn't use the word casually.
"After cultivators become an Immortal, they could ascend to the Sacred dimension, but what you don't know is that there is another dimension above that where the Primordial livesâ¦," The voice began telling Ronald about the third dimension.
The more Ronald learned, the more shocked he became.
"Master, just who are you?" Ronald asked in shock.
"You don't need to know about my identity. The only thing you need to know is that you do what I tell you to do, and then you would be getting your reward," The voice responded.
Time flew by.
"What do you think?" Ronald asked the female Earthen Troll standing in front of him.
She was none other than Pucchi, the aunt of Turta, who had just been born.
"Whâ¦why would Iâ¦Iâ¦I help you to ki⦠Kill my nephew?" Pucchi asked in response to the offer she had just gotten from the hooded figure in front of her.
"Haha, No need to play innocent with me. I know how much you hate your sister and the love you have for your sister's husband," Ronald laughed and responded in response to Pucchi playing innocently in front of him.
A shocked look appeared on Pucchi's face as she heard the hooded figure speaking out the secrets no one knew except her.
***
"If I help you, what do I get in response?" Pucchi asked as she knew that there was no point in lying anymore.
"Haha, Your lover," Ronald chuckled and responded.
Chapter 452
"Your lover," Ronald answered.
It brought a look of shock to Pucchi's face as she didn't know how to respond for a good time.
"Areâ¦..are you sure?" She asked for confirmation as her voice stammered.
"Yes, you only need to say yes, and after the end of the mission, you will get your lover," Ronald replied.
"I don't believe you. Make a vow," Pucchi commented. Hearing the reward, she straight away agreed to the quest. There was nothing more important than her love for him.
"Do what I tell you to do," The next moment, the voice rang inside Ronald's head.
Ronald got curious about the voice's comment. But since it was a revered figure in his mind, he didn't care for the reason.
"Fine, let's make a vow," Ronald commented.
Pucchi heaved a sigh of relief as the mission she was going to take would mentally drain her completely. She couldn't trust the words of someone and commit the quest for years.
The next moment, Ronald started drawing a pattern of a lock in the way the voice told him to do.
Pucchi silently stood there and watched the progress.
In the end, a lock appeared with a thunder imprint on it.
"I promise to fulfill my words to her if she will successfully complete the quest," Ronald vowed. He then bit the tip of his finger and put it above the lock, only to take it away when it absorbed the drop of his blood.
"Your turn," Ronald then looked toward Puchhi.
Pucchi also bit the tip of her finger and fed the drop of her blood to the lock.
The next moment, the lock separated into two separate locks, with each having a similar imprint of the thunder. They then entered both Ronald and Pucchi.
A thunder then appeared in the sky and announced the successful vow.
"Where do you want me to take the boy?" Pucchi asked the hooded figure. Her tone was casual since the vows had been completed, and now she didn't need to fear a betrayal.
"Here," Ronald answered as he lightly tapped Pucchi's head. The next moment, a location appeared inside her mind.
Pucchi nodded.
Time flew by.
Pucchi succeeded in kidnapping her nephew since Turta's parents never expected Pucchi to do this, and the relationship between Pucchi and Rutthi was also very strong.
"Master, what's your next order?" Ronald asked the voice in his head since the mission of Turta was time-consuming.
"Kill the parents of the boy," The voice ordered.
"Eh! Are you serious?" Ronald exclaimed in surprise and asked.
"Yes, the boy's father can provide a challenge in the future, so we need to kill him here unless trouble arises in the future."
"What about the vow?" Ronald asked.Â
"No need to worry about that."
Since the owner of the voice was a revered figure in Ronald's mind, he didn't dare to refuse the order.
He then disappeared from the place. The next moment, he appeared at the door of Rutthi's house.
"Knock!"
"Knock!"
Ronald, covered in a cloak, knocked on the door like a gentleman instead of barging into the house.
"Click!"
A few seconds later, the door opened as a female Earthen Troll opened the door.
"Who-"
"I am here to talk about your son."
Rutthi's eyes were swollen from tears and lack of sleep. Since she didn't recognize the guest due to the cloak, she wanted to ask the identity, but Ronald cut her sentence midway and used the kidnapping of Turta as the point.
"ROTANA, COME HERE," Rutthi's eyes went wide open as she yelled. It was the name of her husband and Turta's father.
"What happened?" Rotana came running straight away.
Since Pucchi had kidnapped their son, Rotana had been on his edge, thinking about his wife.
"THIS PERSONÂ IS HERE TO TALK ABOUT OUR DEAR BOY," Despite Rotana standing next to her, Rutthi shouted as she couldn't control her emotions.
Rotana had the same reaction as Rutthi as he stared at the person covered in a cloak. He had a bad feeling looking at the person, but his heart told him not to care about it after hearing about Turta.
Rotana and Rutthi then requested Ronald to come in. Ronald accepted their gesture and stepped foot inside the house.
While walking back, Rotana had to grab Rutthi as her entire body was shaking.
"PLEASE, TELL ME ABOUT MY DEAR BOY," Rutthi asked. Tears continuously streamed out her face while her voice was agitated.
"Your sister kidnapped your son," Ronald calmly answered, unfazed by Rutthi's reaction.
"Why?" Rotana asked. While taking, he continued gently rubbing Rutthi's back to calm her down.
A grin spread across Ronald's face behind the cloak as he answered, "Because I told her."
He then disappeared from his spot and appeared right in front of Rotana. He grabbed his large head and crushed it like it was nothing.
Rutthi, who was too shocked to understand what was going on after Ronald's confession, was the next target.
Ronald punched, aiming at her head.
The next moment, it exploded like a watermelon as the blood and brain matter spread across the house.
"How could people of this level be any challenge for us?" Ronald asked the voice as it didn't even take him a second to kill the duo of Rotana and Rutthi.
"Shit!" A shocked curse rang in Ronald's head.
Before Ronald could understand what was going on, he noticed a wave of pain attacking him.
A few seconds later, he blacked out.
When he opened his eyes, he wasn't in Rutthi's house but in one of the worlds inside the space ring.
"Ugh, master," Ronald called out to the voice as he groaned in pain.
In response, Ronald only got silence.
"Master?" He called the voice out again, but this time also, there was no response.
He, with a slight struggle, stood up. His eyes then turned to the ground. His eyes and mouth flew wide open in shock, reading the content.
It was a message from the voice, telling him that it won't be able to help Ronald further, and Ronald would have to free him on his own.
Time flew by.
Ronald couldn't help but sigh, remembering the past six hundred years. His eyes then turned to the gate, where there was a sudden stop.
"I would free you, master," Ronald muttered as he touched the surface of the place where the keyhole was there previously.
Chapter 453
"I wouldn't be able to help you any further. The curse on you for killing turned out to be stronger than I thought since you killed two of Earthen Trolls. I have exhausted all my energy to release you from it."
"Your cultivation level had also reduced from late Tao Palace to intermediate Tao Seed, and it would stay like this until the day I get free and heal you."
"When the time to take out the boy's heart arrives in the future, order that woman to rip out her heart and not let him die due to blood loss and weakness, or you would be indirectly responsible for the boy's death and the curse will attack you again."
"You won't be able to fight the curse back unless you become a God, so remember to let that woman rip out the heart of the boy when the boy is awake, or all our efforts will fail."
It was the message left by the voice for Ronald when he regained his consciousness.
***
"Master, I would free you," Ronald mumbled. He then gently touched the spot where once the keyhole was, and now it was filled with the melted key made from Turta's heart and 111 drops of blood taken out for 111 years.
"Eh!" Ronald exclaimed in surprise as he felt his hand attached to the gate. He attempted to move his hand away, but no matter how much strength he used, it failed even to budge.
"Argh!" The next moment a scream rang in the area. A sudden suction force emerged from the gate and started sucking Ronald in.
As time passed, Ronald's hair started to turn gray; wrinkles began appearing all across his skin, while an unbearable amount of pain attacked him at the same time.
"Argh, master, why's this happening to me?" Ronald cried out as the pain got worse with each passing moment, and he could see his death dancing in front of him.
Ronald got nothing but silence in response to his scream.
Time flew by.
"ARG-"
Before Ronald could even complete his scream, his lifeforce got exhausted. The next moment, his body crashed on the ground, but before it could touch and make a crashing sound, the body turned into ashes and then scattered like sand into the air.
"Click!"
The next moment, a clicking sound rang in the area.
The melted key slowly dissolved into liquid and seeped into the gates, disappearing forever.
The keyhole started having changes. It suddenly began spinning, despite it being fixed in a spot.
The spinning rate began increasing at an unimaginable speed.
While the keyhole spun, a circular hole started appearing.
The hole looked to be in a still position due to the lightning speed at which the keyhole moved.
Through the keyhole, a new world filled with stars could be seen. The scene looked too beautiful even to be written, but the pressure released by it was also threatening.
As the hole's radius grew in size, the pressure released by it got more intense and threatening.
The entire Mysterious peak started shaking as if something terrible were going to happen.
Figure after figure started appearing, floating in the sky as they looked at the entire mountain shaking, with all of them having grave and excited faces.
"The entire Anga continent would disintegrate if this kind of shaking continued anymore," A figure solemnly commented.
"You don't need to worry about that," An unfamiliar female voice rang in the sky.
None of the figures recognized the owner of the voice as they turned their heads around and looked at her.
It was a human girl, who looked to be in her teenage years, with an ordinary appearance.
It was none other than Lilith, the Angel.
All the figures in the sky had their focus on the shaking mountain, while Lilith, on the other hand, had her complete focus on the gate and the hole growing larger. A smile spread across her, seeing the beautiful scenery of stars behind the hole.
"What do you mean by that?" The figure asked, seeing such confidence in the stranger girl.
"Nothing would happen to the Anga continent, except for the Mysterious peak. It would disappear. With it, all lives located on it would also die," Lilith told the group with a casual tone as if 20% of life on the Anga continent meant nothing.
The Mysterious peak was so much spread across the Anga continent that around 20% of the entire population of the Anga continent lived there.
"How do you know that?" One of the figures asked. He had a terrified face.
The figure was an Emperor, and the resources area inside the Mysterious peak helped him stabilize and secure his Empire from the attacks of the other four Empires on the Anga continent.
If the Mysterious peak disappeared, the figure would lose its backing, and then he would be just an Immortal with a territory to call his own.
"You don't need to know that," Lilith smilingly told the figure and then gestured to the people floating in the sky toward the gate.
"You see that it's the gate to a ruin. If we succeed in conquering it, even Gods would feel envy," Lilith commented and told the figures present in the sky about the importance of the world behind the gate.
The breathing of the figure's quickened up as now that they saw the gate, they could feel the extraordinariness of the gate and the world behind it.
The shaking of the Mysterious peak also quickened up as the hole had covered two-thirds of the gate.
While the Mysterious peak shook like the inside of a washing machine, nothing happened to the areas around it; it stayed entirely normal.
***
"It has all started," Aakesh expressionlessly muttered as he looked toward the Mysterious peak.
***
All the figures in the sky, including Lilith, came to the ground. They stood in front of the gate and looked toward it with shocks on their faces.
The threatening pressure released by the enlargement of the hole even affected them. Only one person stayed casual during all this. It was Lilith. She didn't even feel a breeze from the pressure.
"I have a way to reduce the opening time of the ruin," Lilith suddenly commented, bringing every figure's attention to her.
"How?"
"How?"
"How?"
Several figures asked the question at the same time.
Chapter 454
"How?"
The figures located in the area asked the same question simultaneously, hearing the girl's sudden comments.
Standing in front of the gate and the continuously enlarging hole, people could feel the majesty and threatening pressure released by it.
At that moment, they wanted nothing more than to increase the rate of the enlargement of the hole.
A smile spread across Lilith's face seeing the look of hurriedness on the people's faces present there.
Suddenly an ominous feeling emerged in all the figure's hearts located there at the same time.
The next moment, Lilith disappeared from her spot and appeared in front of the closest person present to her.
She then grabbed the person and threw him toward the hole spreading across the gate. A strange suction force appeared from it and made the figure stuck to it. He could neither get sucked in nor could he get out.
Before the people present there could understand what had happened, the figure screamed in pain.
The reason for the pain was the snatching of Immortality from the figure, and then in less than the blink of an eye, the person turned old, and then his ashes scattered into the air just like Ronald.
The rate at which the hole grew increased. It may have been good news for the people present there a moment earlier, but now, their faces turned pale.
After the death of the first Immortal, the people had two choices whether to fight or escape. A few chose to run, few decided to fight, while there were still one or two who decided to fight the Immortals instead of the girl to increase the rate.
But when the time for the action arrived, they found themselves frozen in their steps. The next moment, their energies got sealed.
Horror appeared on their faces as they couldn't believe the strength of the girl. In less than a second, the Immortals standing there became nothing more than ordinary figures.
"What are you doing?" An unfamiliar voice suddenly rang in the area.
The people present on the ground had only their energy and legs frozen, so they looked up in the sky and found eleven familiar people floating there.
"Let's not fight. The trouble isn't worth killing your group," Lilith smilingly said, looking at the group of Void beasts attempting to attack her.
The Void beasts didn't usually interfere in the actions of the inhabitants of the Primal dimension, but this time they appeared here to fight because the Mysterious peak and the gate gave a bad feeling to them.
They could feel a terrible aura leaking out of the gate.
Lilith then raised her hands and casually brought them down.
"Thud!"
"Thud!"
"Thud!"
The next moment, all eleven Void beasts started crashing to the ground.
***
"Now be good and silently watch me. Nothing would happen to the Primal dimension," Lilith smilingly commented after sealing the energy level of all eleven Void beasts.
"Should we use it?" Oxen looked toward one of his fellow Void beasts and asked him telepathically.
"Don't," Lilith turned around and warned Oxen. She could hear the thoughts Oxen had. The smile on her face nowhere to be seen; her face had turned cold.
"It may only be my clone, but it still has enough energy to disintegrate this dimension faster than your thoughts, so let's not get ahead of ourselves," Lilith's tone turned majestic as she warned the Void beasts of the consequences.
The next moment, her disguise came off as she presented her actual appearance to the Void beasts and the people standing there.
Unfortunately for the people and the Void beasts, they weren't able to see the actual appearance, but only a blinding light due to the power difference.
"I know you don't care about your lives when it comes to protecting the Primal dimension, but I'm telling you, nothing would happen to the dimension, so no need to use your last resort and waste it," Lilith told the group of Void beasts. Even she feared the last resort of the Void beasts.
She then didn't wait for the Void beast's response but waved her hands in the direction of the gate.
The next moment, all the people present there, excluding the Void beasts, felt a strong wind pushing them toward the gate.
Since their energies were sealed, they couldn't put up a fight and got pushed.
The next moment, screams rang in the area as the gate first snatched their Immortality and then their remaining lifeforce.
In the blink of an eye, only the gate, Lilith, and the group of Void beasts were left there.
The Void beasts expressionlessly looked at everything happening. They were in a dilemma; whether to go ahead and use their last option or to believe in the clone of the mighty figure from the third dimension.
In response to the absorption of such large amounts of lifeforce, the enlargement rate of the hole exploded, and in no time, it covered the entirety of the gate and grew several-fold larger than that.
The aura released from the hole now became threatening for even the Void beasts. But miraculously, nothing seemed to happen to the environment around the Mysterious peak, despite such intense pressure.
If someone were to look from above, they would see cracks appearing in several places on the Mysterious peak, and wherever the crack opened, it would result in death and obliteration in the area around it.
Since Lilith could neither throw Void beasts at the hole to increase the rate nor could she leave and bring several Immortals, she decided to wait and have some conversation with the Void beasts.
Lilith couldn't let the beasts use their last resort and ruin her purpose of coming here.
"See, it isn't affecting the area around the Mysterious peak in any way," She commented. She then returned to her human disguise since the Void beasts weren't able to see her except for a blinding light. She then also unsealed their energy levels to make them trust her.
Lilith hadn't bound the Void beast's movements, despite sealing their energy level. She knew about them becoming mad and insane creatures whenever they got restrained.
"Who are you?" One of the Void beasts ignored the girl's comments and asked her for her identity.
"I am Lilith, from the race of Angels," Lilith smilingly introduced herself, bringing a look of shock to the Void beast's face.
Chapter 455
I am Lilith, from the race of Angels," Lilith smilingly introduced herself, bringing a look of extreme shock to the Void beast's face.
Sensing the power differences between the girl and them, the Void beasts expected her to be someone from a higher dimension, but they never expected her to be someone from the top three races.
The group of Void beasts looked toward each other and could see the look of shock in their eyes.
"If you're from the Angel race, then you must know about us using our last resort," One of the Void beasts respectfully warned Lilith.
It didn't matter what kind of nature the members of the Asura and Yaksha races had, but they warranted respect from everyone. The leaders of both the races had direct contact with the Devas. It's also rumored that the leader of the Asura race had once seen the ruler of the Multiverse.
The Void beasts weren't sure, but even the rumor showed the capability of the Asura and Yaksha races.
"Even your real body would face serious trouble," Another Void beast chimed in. His tone still respectful, but the warning couldn't be hidden.
They themselves originated from a drop of blood of the strongest Asura to ever exist, so their bloodline had some knowledge about the power strength of the third dimension.
"I know. It's also why I'm telling you, you don't need to worry about the destruction of your Primal dimension," Lilith smilingly responded.
"Let me give you some news to make you trust me. You see the store; the store owner there would be the downfall of you if you didn't act on him," Lilith suddenly told the Void beasts and looked in the direction of the store.
Aakesh, who was relaxing on his chair after looking at the gate once, suddenly opened his eyes. A frown appeared on his face as he turned in that direction.
His eyes turned expressionless as he saw Lilith waving her hands at him with a wide smile spread across her face, while the group of Void beasts standing next to her was also looking at him with pondering expressions. His eyes then fell on the hole that had now grown almost quadruple the size of the gate.
"Hey, system, what are my chances of defeating her if I used my weapon and a single-kill Absolute weapon?" Aakesh moved his eyes away from the place and returned to the store. He then asked the question since he had a bad feeling, seeing that smile on Lilith's face.
[Host, you have no chance at all of defeating her.]
The system responded in its mechanical and emotionless voice. Since the system was from the Yantra race and had no emotions, it told no lie in its statement.
Aakesh didn't feel disappointed hearing the system's answer as he expected it to be this way. He only wanted to make sure.
"What do you think she wants from that place? It must be something important, or she would've sent her lackeys, not her clone," Aakesh asked another question.
Since there was no new customer for Aakesh to introduce products to and Lily also hadn't returned from Panagea, Aakesh decided to have some conversations with the system regarding the place.
[Host, the portal gives me signs of some higher-level figure residing there. She may be here for that.]
The system gave its conjecture for a reason behind Lilith's appearing here and her interest in the gate and the world behind it.
***
"Why do you say so?" Oxen asked since he found Aakesh first and was responsible for finding out whether he was disastrous for the Primal dimension or not.
"I said your downfalls, not the Primal dimension, so don't make such faces," Lilith smilingly responded.
Lilith belonged to the Angel race, but her character was similar to the Asura race members. Her personality was so similar that her teacher was an expert in the Asura race. Not only that, but she was also her favorite. It was entirely unexpected for the members of the Asura race to have favorites among other races, as they believed every other race other than them to be impure and inferior, except for Devas.
Oxen looked toward other members of his group and could see the confusion and shock. They all had similar questions in their minds.
"Do you know-"
Oxen wanted to ask for the reason behind Lilith's statement. But his question got cut off midway as the hole stopped growing any further, and a horrifying pressure began emanating out of it.
"See you later," Lilith ignored Oxen's interrupted question. She then stepped into the hole and disappeared from the sight of the Void beasts.
After lily left, the Void beasts took a look around them.
"Let's select three people and enter the area," One of the Void beasts suddenly commented, breaking the silence.
"Good idea, I would be one," Oxen responded straight away.
The Void beasts couldn't leave the world behind the hole. They needed to check its effect on the Primal dimension on their own and not believe the words of some stranger, even if they were from one of the top three races.
"I'll be the second," Talia chimed next.
Oxen turned to take a look at her and then moved his eyes away before anyone would notice anything weird.
"I'll be the third then," A Void beast named Oregon replied next.
"Okay, so Oxen, Talia, and Oregon would enter the hole to check the effect it could play on the Primal dimension," One of the Void beasts commented.
"Your goal is to not only find the effect, but if it turns disastrous, you need to take action straight away and end the issue," One of the void beasts suddenly commented.
He then raised his hands and chanted some words. The next moment, a triangular shard piece made up of an unrecognizable material appeared in his hands.
The other Void beasts understood the lying intent, so they repeated the same thing.
The next moment, a shard of random shape appeared in the hands of all ten Void beasts.
They then released the shard pieces. As if an invisible force was acting, the shard pieces flew toward each other.
The next moment, a square card appeared, floating in the air.
***
A/N: After this event is over, there will be a time skip, so I want your suggestions to plan the amount f time skip and the story according to it.
Chapter 456
All the eleven shards made in random shapes started attaching to create a single entity.
The next moment, all the shards assimilated, and a card-like structure in a square shape appeared. It then floated in the air.
The space around it looked to be disintegrating at first glance, but when focused on it, it was perfectly fine.
"Oregon, you should take it since you have the strongest defense out of all three of you," One of the Void beasts suggested Oregon take the card.
The other Void beasts, including Oxen and Talia, seemed to agree with it, so they all supported it.
Oregon nodded, took a step forward, and gently grabbed the card floating in the air.
The square card was colorless, and it was an entirely blank surface. Not even a tiny imprint was there.
The square card in Oregon's hand was the last resort of the Void beasts when it came to protecting the Primal dimension.
The square card wasn't a weapon, but it contained a hint of a killing aura of Vritrasura, their progenitor.
Since Vritrasura was only second to Devas in the Multiverse, his strength couldn't be estimated. It was only a hint of an aura, but it was still enough to kill even a Primordial, albeit the weak ones, but still, it was valuable.
Lilith was strong enough to survive the aura, but it would kill her clone here and may even give trouble to her actual body, and it was the reason she didn't want to antagonize the Void beasts.
"You must go now. We don't know for how long this portal will last," A Void beast suddenly commented.
"Okay!" Oxen, Talia, and Oregon responded. They then turned around and took a step forward.
The next moment, they appeared in front of the portal.
Their eyes shined, seeing the beautiful scene of countless shining stars. They then took a deep breath and took a step forward, disappearing from the area.
"What?" Oxen exclaimed in shock as when he appeared in the world inside the portal, he found himself alone. Talia and Oregon were nowhere to be seen.
Oxen couldn't help but frown as Oregon had the square card. If he found something unsuitable, but Oregon didn't find it, their visit here would result in a failure and may even create serious trouble for the Primal dimension.
Oxen then attempted to contact Talia, using the exclusive communication skill the Void beasts had, but after a moment, Oxen had no choice but to stop.
He could neither contact Talia and Oregon, who came up with him in this world, nor could he contact the Void beasts outside the portal.
Since Oxen had a purpose of coming here, he decided to move. It doesn't matter whether the other Void beasts were with him or not, but for now, he could only hope that he would meet up with Talia and Oregon on his journey.
"Eh!" Oxen then attempted to fly since flying would make his journey quicker, but he faced another disappointment, as the rule of this world blocked him from floating even a cm, let alone flying.
"Roar!"
Suddenly a roar rang in the area, making Oxen stop whatever he was doing.
Oxen then turned to his right and looked. Around thirty miles from him, a beast was rushing in his direction.
He couldn't help but get surprised as the beast was a white tiger and a peak Immortal.
Thirty miles wasn't a large distance for someone like Oxen, so he used a little strength in his leg and jumped.
The next moment, he appeared right above the tiger's head. When he landed, his foot crushed the head, resulting in instant death for the creature.
Oxen was going to leave, but his steps came to a sudden halt as the corpse of the white tiger started disintegrating at a visible rate.
***
Talia and Oregon also found themselves in such situations, respectively. Talia turned out to be the unluckiest of the lot, as he came around a beast that had strength equivalent to Void beasts, so her battle didn't turn out to be as easy as her other two fellow members.
***
"Should we kill the store owner and end the trouble once for all," One of the Void beasts suddenly asked, breaking the silence that had permeated the area after Oxen, Talia, and Oregon entered the portal.
The Void beast still remembered Lilith's statement about the store owner being their downfall.
"No, we don't need to make another enemy at this point," A Void beast answered in response.
"Yes, let's find out about this portal first and the world inside it. It's our biggest concern at this moment, not what that Angel said," Another Void beast chimed in, agreeing with not battling the store owner at this moment.
The Void beast, who had asked the question, fell silent as he agreed with his fellow members. Another round of silence then fell on the area as the Void beasts have decided to wait here for their fellow members to come out.
"Whoosh!"
"Whoosh!"
"Whoosh!"
The silence present in the area broke as a round of teleportations suddenly occurred.
A few seconds later, a few hundreds of Immortals appeared in the sky above the portal.
"Wait for me!" The figure leading the group of Immortals ordered his fellow members and descended to the ground.
"Greetings, seniors!" The figure then greeted the eight Void beasts present there since he recognized them.
The Void beasts only nodded in response to his greetings and returned their focus to the portal.
The figure didn't mind anything from the bland reactions of the Void beasts, as he would be an idiot if he cared for it.
"Senior, can you tell us what's this," The figure respectfully asked the question, pointing at the portal.
The figure was one of the four remaining Emperors of the Anga continent. The sudden disappearance of the Mysterious peak had caused serious situations around the continent.
When divined the reason behind the disappearance of the Mysterious peak, this area came as an answer, so the Emperor himself led a group of three hundred peak Immortals since the issue was bigger for anyone below his rank.
At that moment, yet another round of teleportations began; figures after figures appeared in the sky above the portal.
A few seconds later, tens of thousands of Immortals were in the sky, belonging to Anga and the nearest continents.
Chapter 457
Known figures across the Primal dimension led all the groups, and when they saw the Void beasts standing there, they also descended to the ground and respectfully greeted them.
They all had the same questions, so they looked at the Void beasts, hoping to get some answers.
The Void beasts, on the other hand, looked at each other. They could see the embarrassment in their eyes. The figures here wanted the Void beasts to tell the reason for the portal and the sudden disappearance of the Mysterious peak, not knowing that the Void beasts knew the same about the portals as they knew; nothing.
Since the Void beasts were respected figures across the Primal dimension, they couldn't make a fool out of themselves by telling the group about their lack of information regarding something happening in the Primal dimension.
"It will grant fortune to the fated ones and would cause tragedy to those who attempt to overreach their destinies," One of the Void beasts commented, telling nothing but still creating mystery in the hearts of the Immortals here.
The breathing of the figures located there quickened up, as something worth calling fortune for someone like Void beasts wouldn't be anything to joke about.
They looked at the portal with red eyes, greed evident in them. They had already forgotten about the tragedy part in the statement.
The other Void beasts could only look at their fellow members for causing this situation. As for the lives of the figures presented here, it didn't matter to them whether they survived or died inside the portal.
They only cared for the return of the fellow members, hoping that the Angel was right about the portal not being disastrous for the Primal dimension.
Time flew by.
Groups after groups appeared in the sky above the portal. They belonged to not only different parts of Visteerna but also the Primal dimension.
The cultivation also varied for all the groups. Not all the groups consisted of Immortals, but the majority of the members were Tao Palace and Tao Manifestation.
"So this is the event your grandmother told my father about," One of the figures asked the person standing next to him.
"Yes," The person answered. She was none other than Lenna, the regular customer of the store, and the figure beside her was the third member in the deal.
Her grandmother Elasha had informed someone familiar to her about the upcoming event; she had divined. It was to ask for a large amount of supreme Primal stones so that Elasha and her family members would be able to enter the Gods u0026 Demons level training area.
"So, where is the third person you talked about," The figure asked Lenna as he was told that there was an extra figure in the group.
"There's still quite a time left. He would come later," Lenna responded.
Hearing Lenna's response, a surprised expression appeared on the figure's face.
The person getting late wasn't the reason for surprise, but the respect with which she referred to the person, made him astonished.Â
"Why don't you tell me about him now?" The figure asked Lenna as she still hadn't told him about the third person in the group.
"No, when he arrives, you can ask him. I won't share any information about him without his knowledge," Lenna responded straight away and refused to talk about Aakesh.
Talking to the store owner for so many days made her sure that the store owner wouldn't mind if she talked about him with others, but she still didn't do it as she didn't want to take a chance and the respect she had for him didn't allow her to do it.
The figure wanted to coax Lenna for answers but seeing the determined look in her eyes, he stopped and decided to wait for the person Lenna had so much respect.
***
"You need to pay seventy-five inferior Primal stones," Aakesh expressionlessly told the customer and handed him the three inferior level body healing pills.
"Thank you, store owner," The customer thanked Aakesh and handed the amount to him while gently taking the pills from Aakesh's hands.
'You would be alright,' The customer excitedly cried out in his heart as he had bought the pills for his wife, who had received severe injuries when some robbers attacked her to steal her purse.
"Thank you, store owner," The customer thanked Aakesh once more. He then turned around and proceeded to exit the store.
The customer had only left when another new customer arrived in the store.
"Are you the store owner?" The customer asked, seeing the blue-skinned man seated on a chair. His tone contained a hint of disgust as Aakesh wasn't a human, and nor did the customer belong to the Bisan Kingdom or the neighboring Kingdoms to know the history of the store and the store owner.
Aakesh only expressionlessly stared at the customer in response and didn't speak a word.
The head of the customer turned wet with sweat as he felt psychological pressure attacking him. His face turned ugly as the feeling was way uncomfortable. It didn't cause any pain, but at that moment, the customer would've taken the pain in place of the uncomfortable feeling, such was its effect on him.
"Forgive me. I didn't mean to disrespect you," The customer apologized, remembering the tone he had used.
Aakesh expressionlessly nodded, and the next moment, the psychological pressure on the customer disappeared.
"I am sorry for not recognizing your strength," The customer heaved a sigh of relief and apologized once again.
"What product does this store sell?" The customer then asked, attempting to make the store owner forget about his tone.
Time flew by.
The customer then left the store after emptying his pockets since that was the only way to apologize to the store owner.
Aakesh hadn't cared for the customer's tone in the first place since he was the same as the customer. He also believed himself to be superior to most of the races.
Time flew by.
As the time for the closing of the store drew closer, the number of new customers saw an increase today.
Aakesh returned to his chair after ending another pill sale.
The pills were the silent product of the store. They were sold in the highest numbers but were talked of less than the weapons and virtual portals.
Chapter 458
The sudden disappearance of something like the Mysterious peak caused horror around the Anga continent.
The reason for horror wasn't only the disappearance but also the number of lives that died tragically with it.
The duration between the sudden shaking of the Mysterious peak and its disappearance was only around a minute, so only the beings above Tao Manifestation were able to teleport out of the range of the mountain in that time, while the remaining people died.
In figurative terms, the number of deaths caused by the sudden disappearance of the Mysterious peak crossed a Septillion mark, almost 22% of the total population on the Anga continent.
The losses didn't end with the number of deaths or the complete extinction of a few races of flora and fauna, but in fact, it was the least cared loss for many since people were replaceable with time. But the significant and valuable resources exclusive to the Mysterious peak were the cause of terrible situations across the Anga continent.
Many organizations, Kingdoms, and even one Empire lost everything in only a span of a minute due to the disappearance of the Mysterious peak.
***
"Where is my father?" A person belonging to the race Duenli adorned in golden robes angrily asked. He was the crown prince of the Xanad Empire, the next in line to be the Emperor of one of the only five Empires on the Anga continent.
Duenli was one of the races exclusive to Visteerna. The majority of their members lived on the Anga continent, where they had an Empire to call their own.
Duenli had humanoid structures but with only one eye without any eyebrows. The single eye had a grey sclera, yellow iris, and brown pupil. Their eyes were exclusive to their race and one of the most beautiful in the Primal dimension.
"Your majesty, his majesty had left when the Mysterious peak had suddenly begun shaking out of nowhere, and he's yet to return," The minister respectfully answered.
"Damn it," The crown prince couldn't help but curse as their Empire had just lost everything that allowed them to have a stable footing on this continent and become one of the Empires.
"Did we find the source of it all?" The crown prince asked another question. He was the crown prince, the next in line to be the Emperor. He couldn't lose his cool here as these situations tested the mental limit of people.
"Yes, your majesty," The prime minister respectfully replied. He then gestured to the figure standing next to him to explain it to the crown prince.
The figure nodded. "Your majesty, it all started from the southern end of the Mysterious peak," The figure informed the crown prince. At the same time, he waved his hands as a screen appeared in front of him, showing the map of the Mysterious peak. The area around the Bisan Kingdom and the neighboring Kingdoms were circled in red, marking it as the epicenter.
"Did we send someone to check it?" The crown prince expressionlessly asked.
"No, your majesty!" The minister replied.
"Why?"
"Your majesty, the Emperor is nowhere to be found, and we can't send Immortals to check it without his approval," The minister respectfully replied.
The Xandar Empire followed the Faith system of cultivation, so the Empire had a limited number of Immortals since promotion in cultivation depended upon the faith of the citizens of the Empire.
Even though the number of Immortals in the Xandar Empire didn't cross a hundred, they still were able to secure their resource points in the Mysterious peak from other Empires and strong cultivators.
The reason for it was the advantage the Faith system provided to the cultivators. In the system, the closer they stayed to their believers, the stronger they were.
For this reason, there were 99 cities in total in the Xandar Empire, each one having an Immortal leading and the Divine figure of the respective city, giving them absolute strength there. Even the strongest characters of the Primal dimension weren't able to overpower these figures in a quick amount of time.
No cultivator less than reaching Divine King(The Immortal equivalent of the Faith System) would be able to find anything related to the disappearance of the Mysterious peak. The Faith system similarly had a disadvantage; the far they went from their believers, their invincibility would disappear, and they would have equivalent strength to regular Immortals.
So as not to let a decrease happen in the already limited number of Immortals, only the Emperor had the power to order them to move. Even if the Divine Kings wanted to go somewhere, they had to ask permission from the Emperor.
"Damn it!" The crown prince couldn't help but curse as even he couldn't order any of the 99 Divine Kings to search for the reason.
In the Xandar Empire, the crown prince only had a status when it came to position, but not in strength. Since only the Emperor was eligible to be the highest level Divine figure in the lives of the citizens and the Divine Kings, only they could become an Immortal in the entire royal family, becoming the 100th and the strongest Immortal of the Empire.
"Your majesty, I have terrible news," A hurried voice suddenly rang in the hall. Soon a figure could be seen as he came dashing into the hall, forgetting the etiquette of bowing to the members of the royal family first.
The minister wanted to reprimand the person, but the crown prince stopped him and gestured for the person to inform him of the terrible news.
"Your majesty, his majesty is dead. The prayer and beliefs of the citizens had started returning to the sword of the first Emperor," The figure informed, bringing a look of horror and shock to everyone's faces presently located in the room.
The sword belonged to the first Emperor that founded the Xandar Empire. The owner of the sword would be the receiver of the faiths and beliefs of the hundreds of trillions of citizens spread across the Empire.
"Thud!"
Hearing the terrible news of his father's death, the crown prince couldn't help but stumble to the ground.
The minister and other figures presently located in the hall rushed to the prince, but he gestured for them to stop and just sat there blankly looking around him for a few seconds.
Chapter 459
The crown prince lost the ability to speak or think at that moment as if his mind had turned blank after hearing the news of his father's death.
"ArgGHHH!"
Finally, a sound came out of his mouth in the form of a scream. His voice got louder and shrill as time passed. Even the ministers and soldiers present in the hall had solemn faces filled with sadness.
Since the Xandar Empire was entirely made up of the members of the race, Duenli, and the royal family descended from the progenitor of the race, they were respected all across the Empire. It could be seen from the firm belief of the citizens in the Emperor by the amount of faith energy the sword daily collected.
Time flew by.
The shrill screams finally came to a stop. The crown prince attempted to stand up, but he stumbled once again. The ministers rushed toward the crown prince, but he refused their help and attempted to stand up once again.
He stumbled again, but he attempted once more.
The ministers and soldiers moved their faces away with tears on them as they couldn't watch the crown prince struggling this much.
The Empire could handle the loss of the resources to an extent, and only their control would weaken. With time, they would be able to create more resource points from different areas, but the loss of an Emperor in this situation was as worse as it could get for the Empire.
"I will be the Emperor from this moment," The crown prince expressionlessly proclaimed after he stood up.
A look of shock passed through the faces of the ministers and the soldiers present there in the hall.
"Your majesty, you aren't ready for it," The minister pleaded straight away.
The sword left by the first Emperor could only be taken by his direct bloodline, the royal family, and the member who would grab it would become the Emperor of that generation, irrespective of the gender of the family member. But at the same time, the title of the crown prince didn't guarantee a sure chance of becoming the Emperor.
The sword had an alive will so that generation Emperor could only select members from the crown prince, but it was the sword that took the test and decided whether that title would upgrade to the Emperor or not.
"I have made my decision. The Empire would fall without an Emperor in this situation," The crown prince commented with a determined expression in his eyes.
"Randolph, how dare you make that decision without asking me?"
Suddenly, an angry voice rang in the hall. Except for the crown prince, all the figures turned around, hearing the voice. They then respectfully bowed, recognizing the figure entering the hall.
"Answer me, Randolph," The figure taking strides appeared in front of the crown prince and asked for the answer.
Randolph was the name of the crown prince, and his mother was the person asking him questions. She was currently the Empress, but she was also the sister of his dead father before marrying him.
(A/N: The royal family of the Xandar Empire follows incestual relations since the first line to preserve the complete purity of the blood of the progenitor. Please don't ask questions; what about deformities? There aren't any.)
"Mother, I have decided. You can't make me change my decisions," Randolf replied, staring directly into the eyes of his mother.
"Why do you hate me so much?" The mother asked. Her tone softened this time, and her eyes turned moist.
"I am doing this for the Empire ancestor created," Randolf responded straight away, his tone as dead as before.
"If you failed, the Empire would die with you," Randolf's mother replied.
An attempt at gaining the control of the sword didn't come at a free cost, but brutal death, soul getting devoured by the will of the sword if failed.
It wouldn't have mattered much, but Randolf was the only boy in the royal family's current generation. So if he failed, not only would he die, but the royal family line would also die out with him due to a lack of future descendants.
In order for the royal family to compete for the top position at the spot, all of its members had to have 100% blood purity. So having children out of the royal family was never an option; if they wanted to have more children and competition between descendants.
"If ancestor wants this Empire to be dead, then so be it," Randolf responded. Without waiting for any response from his mother, he turned around and left the hall.
A teardrop streamed down her cheeks, but she didn't move to stop her son forcefully, even when she had the strength to do that.
"Go with him. I'll go pray to the ancestor," The mother then ordered the ministers to follow his son to the throne room where the sword was put, while she decided to pray to the ancestor for success.
***
A sword adorned in gold and various kinds of jewels floated in the center of the throne room, even higher than the throne for the Emperor.
"Ancestor, I want to take my attempt," Randolf bowed and respectfully requested the sword.
The next moment, the sword budged, and it came down.
"Are you sure?" A hoarse voice rang inside Randolf's head, asking for Randolf's confirmation since the failure resulted in the death of the contestant, and it also knew about Randolf being the only male in the family.
"Yes, ancestor," Randolf answered. His voice was calm, while his eyes had determination.
After losing the resource points and then his father, Randolf was ready to lose his all this time. If he succeeded, the Xandar Empire had a chance to rise again, but if he failed, then there was nothing to even think about.
The next moment, the sword budged again. Randolf extended his hands, and the sword fell into his hands.
The moment he grabbed the sword, his eyes turned lifeless, while veins started popping out across his body.
He was in an illusion, which was affecting his body in reality.
***
"Hehe, let's see how they would be able to reject me?" A figure smugly muttered after hearing the news about the disappearance of the Mysterious peak.
The man wanted to marry one of the princesses of the Xandar Empire, but the royal family rejected his proposal.
Chapter 460
The Xandar Empire wasn't the only one to be affected by the sudden disappearance of the Mysterious peak.
A few minutes earlier, a Kingdom made up of beasts living on the Mysterious peak was one of the strongest Kingdoms on the Anga continent.
Three Kings, one tiger, one lion, and the last being a wolf, ruled the Kingdom, with the wolf being the leader of the three due to having a higher-level bloodline and strength.
When the Mysterious peak suddenly started shaking out of nowhere, the three Kings and a few stronger beasts were able to leave before anything drastic happened.
They left and appeared in the sky. When in front of the beasts, the Mysterious peak suddenly disappeared, bringing a look of pure horror to their faces.
The three Kings then looked at each other and could see the disappointment and horror in their eyes.
They had one of the strongest Kingdoms on the Anga continent, but now there was nothing left, not even a hint to prove that their Kingdom once existed.
When the Mysterious peak disappeared, they sensed a large influx of energy coming from the southern side of the past mountain.
Since they couldn't just give up on their Kingdom after working so hard to build it, the three Kings and their followers decided to check the source of energy and find the reason behind the disappearance of the Mysterious peak.
Of the three kings, the wolf was an Intermediate Beast Monarch(Immortal level equivalent in the beast cultivation system), while the lion and tiger were early Beast Monarchs.
It took two space jumps for the wolf to reach the portal while he carried the other two Kings and their other followers.
When they reached there, they found already a large crowd waiting in the sky above what looked to be a portal.
In comparison to the wolf, the portal wasn't even half its size but figures larger than the wolf was able to enter the portal as if the size didn't matter.
The wolf's eyes then fell on eight creatures standing on the ground intently looking at the portal but looked to be in different spaces.
None of the three Kings recognized those figures. They could see the respectful posture, characters even stronger than them had when those characters talked to those eight creatures.
***
A few minutes earlier,
"Father, I'll save you," A human boy around the age of seventeen, with only Xiantian level cultivation, yelled as he carried his father on his back and climbed down the mountain.
The boy's back was wet with blood since his father's chest had a large cut created by a beast. The father also had Xiantian level cultivation, but two minor steps higher than his son.
They lived in the Cretos Kingdom, one of the Kingdom on the western part of the Anga continent, and had the Mysterious peak bordering it.
The boy's mother had died while giving birth to the son, so the father and son only had each other as family members.
The family of two had difficulties even having their ends meet, so the father not only did menial jobs, but he also hunted beasts on the Mysterious peak so that he wouldn't have to buy meat for his son, who was at his young age and needed nutrients.
Today, the duo of son and father had decided to take a vacation when a beast attacked them. They succeeded in killing the beast, but to save the son, the father got injured and got his chest open, resulting in a severe injury.
"Please talk to me, father," The boy cried out once more as his father had lost consciousness due to losing a large amount of blood.
"Crack!"
"Thud!"
Suddenly a cracking sound rang in the area. Out of nowhere, the mountain started shaking, and soon trees began falling off.
The boy, who was only an early Xiantian level cultivator, wasn't able to have a stable footing and fell down, resulting in him and his father starting to roll down the mountain.
"FATHER!"
The boy suddenly let out a heart-rending scream as he saw his father clashing with a rock and then one of the trees crashing down on him, resulting in his death.
The boy wasn't able to handle the emotional turmoil and lost consciousness.
The boy was never able to regain his consciousness as around a minute later, the Mysterious peak disappeared, and with it, the boy also disappeared.
There were trillions and trillions of beings like the boy who had their own stories to tell to the Primal dimension and the Multiverse. But they became nothing more than tragedy, not even enough to put in a chapter due to the sudden shaking and then disappearance of the Mysterious peak.
***
"Magne, what do you say about marriage now?" A shout rang in the capital city of the Xandar Empire, already reeling with the shock of the disappearance of the Mysterious peak.
"Leave, or die," Right at that moment, one of the Divine Kings appeared in front of the figure and warned him to leave.
"Hahaha, kill me," The figure didn't mind the warning, but instead, he started laughing out loud. "Even you Emperor would have to think twice before killing me," The figure further added and mocked the Divine King.
The Divine King's face turned ugly as the person told the truth.
The person's father was also an Emperor, so refusing to marry wasn't a big deal since Magne and the person's father were an Emperor. But if the person got killed, everything would change, resulting in a war between the two Empires on the Anga continent.
Suddenly, an intense pressure appeared out of the center of the city and covered the city.
The citizens of the city only felt a breeze, but the person wasn't lucky, while he felt a large force weighing him down and forcing him to crash to the ground.
A shocked and horrified expression appeared on the Divine King's face as he couldn't accept what he believed the reason for this sudden arrival of pressure to be.
"Argh!"
"Thud!"
The next moment, a scream filled with pain rang in the city. Soon, a hand crashed to the ground as the person lost one of his hands without even knowing what had happened.
"Leave. if you ever return, I will cut you into pieces and send it to your father."
