Chapter 57: The War Goddess: Catherine's Mother

After teleporting to her village, Catherine took Rael to her house, and the two of them were now standing outside the front door.

Catherine knocked on the door, and it didn't take long before a woman opened the door.

"Catherine," The woman's eyes widened, and her voice was filled with surprise.

"Mum," Catherine mumbled, her lips were trembling.

"Oh, Catherine," Her mom smiled, and tears were falling down her cheeks.

"Welcome back, you are back, my child," She sobbed, and she didn't wait any further to hug her daughter.

"You are back, you are back,"

"Yes, Mum, I'm back," Catherine muttered, and her arms wrapped around her mother's back.

"I'm back,"

"It is so good to see you," The mother's voice was full of emotion, and her tears were pouring down her face.

"It has been so long, and I was so worried about you,"

"I know, and I'm sorry," Catherine apologized, as she opened her arms and broke the embrace.
