Chapter 21: Chapter 21 – Two Souls in One Body Part 1
I had surrendered to this feeling of tiredness by making my mind float in dark space. I felt like I'd been in this space before.
I opened my eyes, but I couldn't see anything but my body shining faintly in this darkness.
- Where am I?
The last thing I remember was having sex with all three of my toys and after having sex with Olivia I fell asleep. This could be a lucid dream.
Lucid dreaming was a phenomenon that occurred very rarely in a person. When you dream, you often don't know that you are dreaming. Some remember those dreams while others forget about them completely. Lucid dreaming occurs when you know that you are inside a dream and you practically become omnipotent in the dream. There are people who simply never get to experience them in their entire lives.
I tried to change the landscape thinking of a beach, but nothing happened.

A voice made me turn abruptly. My real name was mentioned leaving me perplexed. Behind me was a figure identical to mine.
- Let me introduce myself, I am Merlin Von Diluc. The original owner of your current body.
His words immediately pulled me out of the trance. This was complete madness. How could it be possible for this guy to still be alive?
- You're wrong about something, I'm already dead.

Merlin nodded without hesitation. Which caused me more questions than answers.
- What are you?
- I don't know. Maybe some remnant fragment of my soul. I read all your memories and based on them I created the theory that my soul merged with you.

That theory made a lot of sense. Even within the game, only one class capable of manipulating souls and corpses called necromancers was known. Necromancers could create undead who could move on their own who were called death knights. These knights required a strong body and the original soul of the body. If one tried to enter an old soul, the body rejected it and ended up turning to ashes after a while.
- I assumed the same thing as you. Now I'm trapped inside my own body helplessly and all the control has been taken over by you. I used to be sleeping peacefully until something woke me up. Do you know what it is?
This guy was already getting on my nerves. In my recollections, he never acted as presumptuous as he does now. His abrupt change of personality may be due to the influence of my memories.

- Drop the roll and speak what you want.
Merlin coughed and said. Currently I was acting like a true noble, haughty and superior which annoyed me.
- You don't have to get so angry. I'm just copying your personality. We are both one after all. What I want is for you to treat Olivia and the rest of the women you get along the way.
- I refuse.
I instantly declined his request. Remnant or not, these were not my real feelings.

Merlin looked at me surprised by my answer, but something told me that he was already waiting for it.
- Don't bother rejecting so quickly. There are advantages for you on my side.
