Chapter 310: I'm not speaking cat, I'm just a good cat reader

With dinner finally prepared and ready for everyone to enjoy, the group settled around the table to eat.

Snowball perched on the table next to her, sitting prim and proper and leaning down to eat his bowl of meat in a dainty way. As if to prove some point. What point that might be, however, Isabelle had no idea.

The other men chatted with each other cheerfully, occasionally making comments on the meal and offering compliments.

Her kitten also made some good points to talk about during the course of the meal.

They were little trills, chirps, and especially cute mews.

He always seemed to wait for a pause in conversation to make those sounds, looking up and glancing around the table as he did so, as if he were participating in the conversation.

Every time, Snowball's fluffy white tail swished about in obvious enthusiasm.

It was just about the most adorable thing in the world to see her kitten behaving like that.
