Chapter 63: #63 ADLS
The next morning Dadan woke up with her bottle in her hand, looked around and saw our note.
Note: From today on we live alone in the forest!

Dadan: Whhhhaaaattt! Garp San, wake up! The children all ran away!
Garp leaned up and scratched the back of his head.
Garp: Smart little shits. You can do nothing about it. Next time I come here, I hope you put them on the right path to become marines, especially the girl, I couldn't really do anything to her. My vacation is over, I'm going back.
Garp stood up and left the shelter.
Dadan: Are you serious!?
Dadan went back to the shelter and lay down.
Dadan: I won't go looking for them, they brought this on themselves. Now they have to see how they get along.
Meanwhile we walked through the forest and Sabo suggested our own shelter in a large tree.
Dia: Leave the building of the house to me.
I used my Wood Release and created a beautiful round tree house in the treetop.
Luffy: And how do we get up there?
Ace: The three of us have learned to stick to walls, you'll probably have to train to live up there with us.
Luffy: That's mean, Dia said that I have no talent for this chakra thing.
Sabo: Then I guess you'll have to stay outside and find something else, Luffy.
Luffy: You can't do that, please don't leave me down here alone!
Luffy started to cry.
Dia: Stop teasing him. I'll make you a climbing rope when we get to the top, you rubber head.
Luffy: Thanks, I promise I'll practice running up trees too.
Dia: I think you don't need to try that anymore, you're just too stupid for it, Luffy.
Luffy: Okay.
Sabo: Just like that!!!
Ace and Sabo climbed up the tree and then ran up the bottom of the treehouse using chakra. I stretched my wings and flew up and made a rope for Luffy and threw it down to him. The three of us waited for Luffy to climb up and all entered the house together.
Ace: Wow, that looks really good.
Dia: Let me make a few more beds and a bathroom. I'll probably have to run the toilet through the whole tree and connect it to an underground cavity. Give me some time for this.
Luffy: We also need a steering wheel and a lookout tower to see our enemies.
Ace: Exactly, and binoculars and we need to make our flag and hang it up.
Sabo: And a kitchen like the one in your old shop would be great.
3 hours later I was finished with all the improvements and even set up a cannon because Luffy really wanted one.
Since the four of us all fought with pipes, I created metal battlesticks for us. They were silver plated and made of a titanium alloy and were therefore quite heavy. We all trained over the next few months. Dadan also secretly visited us after a week and checked whether we could manage on our own, because she was worried about us. Of course I caught her doing it and gave her a few chocolate hearts as a little thank you. And of course she started crying because she was so moved by it.
It was now winter and the three idiots tried to defeat ever stronger animals. I sat on the edge and watched them. Today the three wanted to kill a bear, but the bear was too strong for the three and just as I was about to intervene, an older gentleman with a black coat, a tobacco pipe and a black hat appeared and scared the bear away with his Haki. Of course, I learned the technique as soon as I saw it and found it very interesting.
Naguri: Children, you should be careful which animals you mess with!
Luffy: Who is that?
Sabo: This is the old Naguri from Gray Terminal, I didn't know you could fight and how did you even do that? That was really cool!
Naguri: Did you think that was cool? It wasn't anything special, just an old pirate's trick.
Luffy: I knew it, only a pirate like Shanks could do something like that.
Dia: Thanks for the help, I just wanted to save the three of them too.
I bowed slightly to Naguri.
Naguri: You don't need to thank me like that, I hardly did anything.
Dia: But you helped them, after all they are my brothers.
Naguri patted me on the shoulder and said, "Now that I see you up close, I think you could have protected them too."
Luffy: Really, is Dia that strong?
I hit Luffy on the head and said, "Of course I'm so strong, idiot!"
Luffy held his head, feeling pain from my punch.
Luffy: Why does your punch hurt me, it wasn't like that yesterday?
Dia: Because I've never really fought against you, you all have to train a lot more for that. Forget it, I'll just show you. I held out my hand and a water ball formed, I spun it and then shot it at the stone wall.
BOOM!
A 3m deep hole appeared in the wall and all four dropped their jaws.
Naguri: What was that, girl? Did you eat a devil fruit?
Dia: Yes, but that had nothing to do with my fruit, that was my water ball ninjutsu.
Naguri: Wow, so you're a ninja, can I have an autograph? I've never met a ninja and I've been on the Grandline. All I ever heard about them were stories, about how incredibly strong they are.
Dia: We are strong, do you have something to write with you?
I gave Naguri an autograph and we then sat comfortably by a fire and ate some fish.
Naguri: I'm sure no one will believe the story, if I tell them. A real ninja, this is amazing.
Dia: Here for you it's a kunai, this is the weapon of us ninja's, so people should believe you when you show it to them. But what is an experienced pirate like you actually doing in the Gray Terminal?
Naguri: A defeat against Gold Roger is to blame for it. My Crew disbanded after our defeat against him and here I am, becoming an old man.
Luffy: Cool, so you fought the Pirate King? We all want to become pirates too and one day I will be the king of the pirates, but for that I have to become stronger. Can you maybe train me?
Naguri: Sure I can train you.
Sabo: What, just like that!!
Luffy: Wait, where did Ace go?
Sabo: Don't tell anyone, but Ace is Roger's son and he doesn't like to talk about his father.
Luffy: But why not, he's the King of the Pirates?
Dia: Because people dislike Ace for it, you idiot. His father was a dangerous man and that's why Ace is feared like a monster by the others. And the Navy would definitely want his head too, just because he's Roger's son.
Luffy: But Ace didn't do anything?
Sabo: And that's why you shouldn't mention it anymore, especially not in front of Ace. Let's go now.
Luffy: Naguri, I'll see you tomorrow for training.
Naguri: Yes, just come here tomorrow and I will train you.
All three of us went back to the treehouse where Ace was already waiting for us.
Dia: Still sulking, Ace?
Ace: I'm not sulking at all, Dia.
Luffy: So Gold Roger is your father?
Ace: Who told you about this?
Luffy: Sabo did it.
Ace: Don't ever mention that name in front of me again, you got that!
Luffy: But he's the king of the pirates, so, Roger, Roger, Roger.
Ace beat up Luffy and stopped talking to him from then on.
2 weeks passed and I spent the time with Luffy and Naguri. Naguri had made Luffy cut down trees, so he could use more strength in his arms for his rubber punches. One of the trees was about to fall on Ace and Sabo, but the two were able to avoid it in time. Luffy then quickly ran over to the two.
Luffy: Hey Sabo, hey Ace, long time no see.
Sabo: What are you doing here Luffy, did you want to kill us?
Dia: No, he was just cutting down trees for Naguri and you came at a bad moment.
Luffy: I'm sorry.
Sabo: Why do you even cut down trees?
Naguri: He's helping me with something, come with us and we'll show you.
We led the two of them to a small coastal cave.
Sabo: Is that a pirate ship?
Naguri: Luffy and Dia helped me to repair my old ship, I want to find my crew again after all these years and go on adventures with them again.
Sabo: Do you think they're still alive?
Naguri: I'll see when the time comes.
Luffy: Sabo, look how good I've become. Gumo Gumo No Pistol!
Luffy's arm shot past his target and hit Naguri square in the face.
Naguri: Ouch, you did it again!
Sabo: Wow, last time you couldn't stretch your arm that far.
Ace: How did you do that, old man?
Naguri: I only let him cut down trees with an ax, it probably did his constitution good.
Sabo and Luffy went into the ship together and took a tour.
Ace: I know you hate him for what he did to you and your Crew.
Naguri: Oh, you mean Roger. Yes, I was pretty depressed for a while, but I don't hate him. When a pirate loses a fight he usually dies, but here I am, getting another chance to sail the sea and maybe even find my crew again.
Dia: You're just too upset about what Dadan drunkenly said about you, Ace. She didn't mean it that way and even secretly checked on us, out of concern.
Ace: You heard her?
Dia: Sure, but you're like her own child and she's sorry, she'd just never say that to you.
Ace: Just leave me alone Dia, I need time to think.
Dia: You'd better forgive your little brother first, or do you want to leave me alone with the rubber head any longer?
Ace: Well, then I'll forgive him when he comes back, but we all have to become stronger to defeat the monkey and the tiger.
Naguri: I can also train you, of course only if you help me with the ship.
Dia: Then we have a deal. Sabo! Luffy! Come here! Ace wants to say something to Luffy.
Ace: Does it have to be?
"Absolutely, or do you have no heart for your pitiful little sister?" I said with crocodile tears in my eyes.
Ace: Alright, now stop your show.
Sabo and Luffy both came running over.
Sabo: What does Ace want to say?
Ace: I'm sorry that I overreacted because of what Luffy said the one day.
Luffy: I forgive you and now look at the ship.
Luffy grabbed Ace's hand and pulled him behind him to the ship.
4 months passed and I was now 10 years old. Naguri left with his ship a few months ago and the three idiots were able to defeat the tiger. I was sitting comfortably in our shelter and was just finishing our laundry, it was already evening and the others wanted to go to the Gray Terminal and steal some loot.
Ace and Luffy entered the treehouse and neither of them said a word to me.
Dia: Where is Sabo?
"He's back by his father, he's probably doing better there than with us and now I don't want to talk about it anymore. I'm going to lie down. Wake me up tomorrow morning, Luffy and I still have to do something for Blue Jam." said Ace fumed as he walked to his bed.
Dia: Why Blue Jam and why is Sabo with his father?
Luffy: His father had asked Blue Jam to bring him back to the city and...
Ace: Luffy! Shut your mouth! Sabo decided to do it!
Luffy started crying and ran into my arms.
"Can I sleep in your bed today?" Luffy asked with a desperate face.
Dia: Of course you can, but only today.
Luffy: Thanks Dia. Tomorrow I'll sleep in my bed again.
Luffy and I both laid down and he pushed me out of my bed 3 times during the night because he was punching around in his sleep.
The next morning.
I woke Ace Up and he went straight to the Gray Terminal with Luffy without even saying a word to me.
Dia: (It will be best if I just let everything happen, right?)
