William Cole paid no attention to Catherine's pleas. He seized her and threw her forcefully onto a bed, one that housed a mutated patient.

"Ahh!"

Catherine cried out loud, only to be grabbed by the mutant patient.

"Squirt, squirt, squirt." The mutant patient had long nails, like a zombie, leaving scratches all over Catherine's face, neck, and arms.

"Ahh!"

Catherine shouted in terror as she struggled to escape. She managed to get to the other side of the room tossed open several medicine bottles, preparing the antiviral drug.

"No… no! I will be okay, I must be okay..." Catherine was pale-faced with her hands shaking uncontrollably.

Due to her nervousness and fear, she dropped several bottles. Finally, she managed to prepare a syringe of antiretroviral agent and plunged it into her arm.

"It's useless, you're already infected."
