Shye approached and stared down at the so-called boyfriend, circling the poor guy as he inspected him from head to toe.

Leffen couldn't help but swallow repeatedly, his heart racing in his chest.

To make matters worse, the guy was eyeing him like an overprotective mother hen.

Meanwhile, everyone inside the guild branch headquarters watched with intense interest, eager to see how Shye Crowley of the Black Dawn would confront the bold junior who had dared win the heart of his beloved little sister.

If Shirley had been there to witness Shye's antics, she wouldn't have been able to contain her laughter.
