Chapter 718: A Reunion Between Old Friends

"Lord Dweezel, what are your orders?" the Hawkin Guard Commander inquired. "Should we activate our emergency talismans and retreat?"

"No, prioritize helping the youngsters first. If things escalate, then we'll retreat," Dweezel replied, swiftly putting on his Golden Sun Armor Set, even though it no longer fit his figure as it once had.

Of course, Dweezel wasn't particularly concerned about the fate of the youngsters; he was simply acting to protect his reputation.

Regardless of his intentions, Dweezel's sudden lunge at a terrorist, taking him down with a single strike, inspired the youngsters to cheer. 

Their spirits soared at the sight and prospect of fighting alongside the legendary hero.

As a result, for a brief period, the youth representatives and the heroes fought valiantly, momentarily stalling the terrorists' advance despite being at a significant numerical disadvantage.

Unfortunately, morale could only take one so far.
