Chapter 94: A Furious Maia

Finally, after continuously attacking Maia, Alicia saw an opening which she immediately tried to take advantage of.

She moved in and tried to stab Maia but unfortunately for her, it was all a trap. Maia easily dodged her stab and kicked her squarely in the abdomen which sent her flying to the edge of the stage.

Shye felt so proud after seeing his little sister perfectly pull off a move he taught her.

On the other hand, Alicia remained focused even though her abdomen was in pain.

She immediately tried to regain her footing without taking her eyes off Maia because she knew that a single lapse in focus might result in her defeat against such a strong opponent.

Seeing that she failed to finish Alicia off, Maia smiled widely as she thought to herself "This is the battle I've always wanted!".

Her bored expression was replaced by a battle-hungry smile which surprised the examiners and Dean Gaston.
