3rd person Pov –
Mom: good night sweety, I love you and I am proud of you. Always remember that.
As Delia said that she kissed her son's forehead and left the room to sleep herself.
Soon the next day we see Ash, Delia, Brock, Misty, Professor Oak and Gary sitting in the audience to watch the fight between Cynthia Shirona and Josh Renner.
Ash POV –
As I sit down to watch the match between Cynthia and Josh, I couldn't help but think about various strategies I could use against her. As the match started Cynthia had sent out her starter and most powerful Pokémon in her team, the duel Dragon and Ground Type Pokémon Garchomp, and I was bit scared when I saw her and heard her roar, and I knew she was a bit was a stronger than my own Charizard by a small margin and that gave me some hope to beat her and at least challenge her. And Josh had decided to send his own strongest Pokémon in his team Gyarados, Soon the match started and it was not even a fight but a one side Massacre Cynthia's Garchomp alone won against all 6 of Josh's Pokémon's and it looked that she could still go on for few more rounds.
Brock: wow, that is one strong Pokémon.
Professor Oak: yes, Cynthia has trained her Garchomp very well…
As professor Oak was talking a fire had lit under me and I had decided that even if I lose the finals I will give her that fight she wont forget and a damn good one at that, as I decided to go with my full power, I got up and decided to go outside the stadium as I knew she was using my side like I did in the semi-final I knew where that left to had I knew what I had to do.
As I excused myself, I left to go and talk to my opponent for that final Cynthia Shirona herself.
Cynthia POV –
After my Semi-final battle, I was leaving the stadium with Garchomp behind me, I couldn't help be disappointed that even this match was not much of a challenge for me, as I was leaving I saw a guy standing in front of me, with a serious face and a Pikachu on his shoulders. Then I remember him, he is my opponent for the finals of the Kanto League. What is he here to harass or threaten me or something.
Ash: that was a some battle?
Cynthia: yeah, what of it.
Ash: look I am not here to do some cliché nonsense like threaten you to forfeit or any nonsense. I want to just talk to you.
Cynthia: so, what can I help you with?
Ash: for the Semi-final battle I want to battle your main Sinnoh team.
Cynthia: and why should I agree to that request?
I said with a raised eyebrow.
Ash: because, I know you. You will not turn down my challenge. We both have some similarities and what I have seen of you, you are also like that.
Cynthia: ok, I agree with your assessment of yours. But I have seen your Pokémon, till now and none of your Pokémon except Primeape and Pikachu have the strength to fight with my main team.
Ash: then you must know that while yes Pikachu and Primeape are one of my strongest Pokémon, I have still not released my strongest Pokémon and I am going to use him for the final battle.
That's interesting, I wonder which Pokémon is his strongest one. And why does he want to battle my main team so much?
Ash: that's all I wanted to say. Have a good day.
Saying that he left and I was pondering on what to do when, Garchomp just nudged me and nodded and me, saying he was saying the truth and I should use my main team. I thought for a second and decided to just walk to my cabin I was assigned and called a familiar number.
?: hello, who is this?
Cynthia: Grandma, it's me your granddaughter.
Caroline: Ah, Cynthia how lovely of you to call. Now I hear you are competing in the Kanto League, which round are you on?
Cynthia: I am good grandma and I am in the Final of the competition.
Caroline: oh how goody good, now how who is your opponent of yours?
Cynthia: its Ash Ketchum, he is a sponsored trainer of Professor Oak.
Caroline: one of Samuel's children, huh so what can I help you with my granddaughter.
Cynthia: I wanted my main team for the finals.
Caroline: oh, I see. Give me a call in 2 hours, I am outside and when I return will transfer you to them. And by the way, I am coming to Kanto with your grandfather to see you in the finals, and have some rest dear.
While I continue to talk to grandma for some more time, later I turned to talk with Garchomp and I couldn't find her, I turn to see Garchomp is in the training field, practicing with a serious face. And from the look on Garchomp face we will finally get the battle we wanted for so long.
Ash POV –
After my talk with Cynthia I met up with Mom, Professor Oak, Brock and Misty, I did not see Gary and it seems that he was away for something. After a quick talk I let with Pikachu on my shoulders and my strongest team and I also had Chansey with me. Soon we started our training and perfecting the moves.
Soon time passed and I was in my waiting room, waiting for someone to call me, when I hear someone call me from the Speakers.
Speaker: Ash Ketchum, please report in your designated spot, your battle starts in 5 minutes.
As I heard that, I took a deep breath, cooled my nerves and went to the stage and was ready for my battle.

The Pokémon battlefield was set, a vibrant arena surrounded by eager spectators. Ash Ketchum, determined and focused, stood on one end with his loyal Ivysaur by his side. On the opposite side, the formidable and the future Pokémon Champion, Cynthia, exuded an air of confidence as she unleashed her enigmatic Spiritomb.
Ash: Ivysaur, let's show them what we're made of! Start with a Razor Leaf attack!
Ivysaur responded promptly, vines on its back glowing as it unleashed a flurry of sharp leaves towards Spiritomb. However, the Ghost-type Pokémon effortlessly phased through the razor-sharp foliage.
Cynthia: Impressive, Ash. But let's see how Spiritomb handles this. Spiritomb, use Confuse Ray!
Spiritomb's gem-like eyes glowed ominously as it released a mysterious light that danced around Ivysaur. The atmosphere became disorienting, and Ivysaur found itself confused, unsure of its next move.
Ash: Stay focused, Ivysaur! Try a Vine Whip!
Ivysaur, despite its confusion, attempted to strike with its vines, but the disorientation affected its aim, and the attack missed its mark.
Cynthia: Now, Spiritomb, seize the opportunity! Use Shadow Ball!
Spiritomb gathered a dark energy between its shadowy hands and launched a powerful Shadow Ball at the still-confused Ivysaur. The attack hit squarely, sending Ivysaur sprawling backward.
Ash: Ivysaur, snap out of it! We can't let up now. Use Leech Seed!
Despite Ivysaur's confusion, it managed to release a barrage of seeds that took root around Spiritomb. However, Spiritomb's Ghost typing made it resistant to the draining effects of Leech Seed.
Cynthia: You're putting up a good fight, Ash. But it's time to finish this. Spiritomb, use Dark Pulse!
Spiritomb unleashed a wave of dark energy that crashed into Ivysaur, overwhelming it. The super-effective Dark Pulse proved too much for Ivysaur to handle, and it collapsed, unable to battle any longer.

On the other side, Cynthia, ever composed, released her battle-worn Spiritomb, showing signs of fatigue from a previous encounter.
Ash: Fearow, let's soar to victory! Start with a powerful Drill Peck!
Fearow swooped down with incredible speed, its beak aglow with a piercing energy. Spiritomb, still recovering from its previous battle, struggled to evade the rapid assault. The Drill Peck connected, dealing significant damage to the Ghost-type Pokémon.
Cynthia: Spiritomb, hang in there! Counter with an Ominous Wind!
Despite its weariness, Spiritomb summoned a gust of mysterious wind that enveloped Fearow. The ethereal gusts seemed to boost Spiritomb's spirits, raising its overall strength.

Cynthia: Excellent agility, Milotic! Counter with Ice Beam!
Milotic's elegant body glowed with an icy energy as it released a frigid beam towards Wartortle. Wartortle, ever nimble, managed to evade most of the Ice Beam, but some frost still clung to its shell, slowing it down.
Ash: Good dodging, Wartortle! Let's get up close. Aqua Tail!
Wartortle charged in, its tail surrounded by a powerful aquatic aura. The Aqua Tail struck Milotic with force, but the resilient Water-type endured the hit.
Cynthia: Milotic, showcase your beauty! Use Attract!
Milotic began a mesmerizing display of elegance, entrancing Wartortle with its beauty. Caught in the charm, Wartortle found itself infatuated and hesitant to attack.
Ash: Snap out of it, Wartortle! Shake off the infatuation and use Skull Bash!
Despite the infatuation, Wartortle focused its energy, its head glowing as it charged towards Milotic with a powerful Skull Bash. Milotic, caught off guard, took the hit and recoiled from the impact.
Cynthia: Impressive, Ash. But let's finish this with a combination. Milotic, Dragon Pulse!
Milotic summoned a swirling orb of draconic energy and launched a potent Dragon Pulse towards Wartortle.
Ash: Hold on, Wartortle! Counter with a powerful Hydro Pump!
In a clash of water and dragon energy, the attacks collided, creating a spectacular display of splashing power. The battlefield was enveloped in mist as the trainers eagerly awaited the outcome. And it cleared to show both Pokémon on the ground with swirls in their eyes.
Referee: as both Pokémon's are unable to battle this round is a draw and as both trainers have lost 3 Pokémon we will take a 10 minutes break.

As 2 friends were talking, ash mom Delia was seeing the picture of her sons match, with a smile on her face.
Delia 'thinking': oh Ash, you have grown so much.
Thinking Delia thought of her small baby boy that she raised when he was a young baby.
In a private booth –
Caroline: well looks like Cynthia wont be the only monster of this generation. Oak's brat has some strength and soon both should…
As that was happening soon the 10 minute mark was up and both trainers got back in their respective side of the field to start the match.

Fearow dove towards Roserade, its beak glowing with a fierce energy. However, the agile Roserade swiftly sidestepped the attack, avoiding the piercing Drill Peck.
Cynthia: Impressive evasion, Roserade! Counter with Petal Dance!

Ash: Fearow, shake it off! Use Agility to dodge and then hit back with Aerial Ace!
Fearow's form blurred with incredible speed as it dodged the remaining petals with Agility. In the blink of an eye, Fearow retaliated with a barrage of rapid Aerial Ace attacks, hitting Roserade with pinpoint accuracy.
Cynthia: Well done, Ash. But let's see how Roserade handles this. Toxic!
Roserade released a toxic spray that coated Fearow, poisoning it gradually. The Poison-type status began to take its toll on Fearow's stamina.
Ash: Fearow, we can't let up! Brave Bird, let's finish this!
Despite the poison weakening it, Fearow summoned its courage and soared high into the sky. With a powerful dive, Fearow unleashed the full force of its Brave Bird attack, striking Roserade head-on.
The collision of the Brave Bird and Roserade's Toxic attack created a dazzling explosion of energy. When the smoke cleared, both Pokémon were visibly exhausted and struggling to stand. When suddenly Roserade fell down with swirls down in its eyes.

As the crowd erupted into cheers, Ash rushed to his weary Fearow, grateful for its resilience. The victory may have come at a cost, but the bond between trainer and Pokémon remained unbroken.
Cynthia: Now, Togekiss battle dance.

Referee: very well, let the battle begin.
Announcer: and the Aerial battle has begun folks.
The Pokémon battlefield was charged with excitement as Ash Ketchum faced off against the formidable Pokémon Trainer, Cynthia. Ash, ever ready for a challenge, with his trusted Fearow. On the other side, Cynthia released the graceful and majestic Togekiss, a Normal [A/N: Fairy typing isn't discovered yet] and Flying-type Pokémon.
Ash: Fearow, show them our strength! Begin with a powerful Drill Peck!
Fearow lunged towards Togekiss with its beak aglow, aiming for a decisive strike. However, Togekiss, with its nimble wings, effortlessly evaded the attack, leaving Fearow slightly off balance.
Cynthia: Togekiss, dazzling as always! Strike back with Air Slash!
Togekiss flapped its wings, creating sharp crescent-shaped gusts of wind that homed in on Fearow. The Air Slashes hit Fearow head-on, causing it to wince from the powerful blows.
Ash: Fearow, don't let up! Use Aerial Ace to counter!
Fearow, despite the hits, retaliated with a rapid Aerial Ace, aiming to break through Togekiss's defences. However, Togekiss, with its serene agility, gracefully dodged the incoming attacks.
Cynthia: Togekiss, let's seize the momentum! Aura Sphere!
Togekiss generated a sphere of mystical energy between its wings and launched it at Fearow. The Aura Sphere connected, sending Fearow tumbling backward from the force of the attack.
Ash: Hang in there, Fearow! Use Roost to recover some health!
Fearow found a brief respite as it perched on a nearby ledge, recovering some of its health with the Roost move. However, Togekiss wasn't about to give it much breathing room.
Cynthia: Togekiss, capitalize on the opportunity! Follow up with Dazzling Gleam!
Togekiss released a radiant burst of light, bathing the battlefield in a dazzling gleam. The Fairy-type move struck Fearow, who struggled to withstand the onslaught. And Fearow fell down and fainted with swirls in its eyes signifying its defeat.

Cynthia: Excellent effort, Ash. Garchomp, finish this with Outrage!
Garchomp, fuelled by a draconic fury, unleashed a relentless barrage of powerful Outrage attacks. Pikachu fought valiantly, but the overwhelming force of Garchomp's assault proved too much.
Referee: As Pikachu, is unable to battle the winner of this round is Ash Ketchum, now Trainer Ash you have 30 seconds to release your next Pokémon and trainer Ash you also have 30 seconds to decide if you want to substitute or stay with Garchomp.

As the battle reached its climax, both Charizard and Garchomp showed signs of weariness. Fatigue didn't deter their spirits, though. The trainers and their Pokémon shared a silent understanding—the battle was far from over.
Cynthia: Garchomp, Outrage! Let the fury of the dragons be your strength!
Garchomp's eyes gleamed with an uncontrollable rage as it unleashed a torrent of furious Outrage attacks. Charizard, standing resilient, endured the onslaught, determination burning in its eyes.
Ash: Charizard, hang in there! Counter with a powerful Fire Punch!
Charizard, despite the confusion induced by Garchomp's Outrage, focused its energy and struck back with a blazing Fire Punch. The clash between Outrage and Fire Punch created a burst of energy, and the Pokémon were momentarily engulfed in a brilliant explosion of fire and draconic power.
