Chapter 162: At That Moment He Knew

Barry's heart pounded in his chest as he stepped into the dimly lit house. His eyes scanning the room. The air was heavy with tension.

And then, he saw them. His mother and sister, bound and gagged in the chair. Their eyes wide with fear as they stared back at him. Barry's breath caught in his throat, a surge of anger and helplessness washing over him like a tidal wave.

Surrounding them were about ten individuals, wielding their weapons and wearing hard expressions. Their presence loomed over the room like a dark cloud, casting a shadow of fear and uncertainty for Barry. Fear that they will hurt Lyn and Linda.

"Mom, Lyn!" Barry was about to walk over to them.

But everyone there immediately blocked him. They raised their weapons towards Lyn and Linda. Their body language showed that they would hurt them both if he dared to move even the slightest bit closer.
