Chapter 45: Got Something Inside the Park
"I need the bones of zombies or mutated animals or any monsters, the rest is the same as Magic potion; air and water."
After she finished saying what she needed to make the Strength Enhancement potion, everyone there nodded in understanding.
"That's it?" Elaine said, frowning.
Victoria nodded. "Yes."
"I don't know how you can create such a good potion from just those ingredients," Elaine said in surprise.
"I also don't really understand how this all works. Previously I could only cook food but suddenly I can cook these potions," Victoria replied.
Actually, Barry was surprised as well at what Victoria could do. But he knows for sure that it is because of the system that awakened in their bodies.
Barry just remembered that he hadn't used Insightful Gaze on her so he hadn't seen her stats. But that can wait for later.
Barry told the group to start moving. They venture deeper into the park. The deeper they went, they felt that the threat was getting bigger.
No zombies or mutated animals appear yet, but bad videos emerge from everything in this park. Making them unable to relax in the slightest.
"The text says we should look for the Destruction Creature here, right?" Danny asked.
"Yes," Barry answered.
"What is that exactly?"
This time Barry couldn't answer the question. Because he himself didn't know what that creature looked like.
"I don't know either. But, I'm sure we won't have any trouble finding it," Barry said.
"How?" Now it's Elaine who asks.
"Just look for a creature that looks the most gruesome and terrifying here."
Elaine nodded in understanding.
"Guess you're right," Danny said.
Suddenly, noises came from around them. The mascots that were previously rolled on the ground and the statues that were just standing still started to move.
There was some kind of dark purple mist coming out of their bodies. The mist was thin but it couldn't escape their eyes.
"Here we go." Barry went first toward one of the animated statues.
It was a statue of a cute rabbit standing on two legs. But now there's a strange dark glow in its eyes and a pair of claws growing on its hands. Making it turn into a monster.
The rabbit swung one of its arms. Barry dodged sideways with ease.
He felt he could defeat these statues without using his Gravity Manipulation so he didn't use it.
Barry swung his sword as hard as he could at the statue. He felt the blade penetrate the statue like it penetrated the flesh.
And it turns out it's true. Barry saw flesh tissue as the statue's outer skin opened. These statues have indeed turned into some kind of living creature.
'Well, the changes make it easier for me to cut it.'
Instead of cement or bronze, now the statues are made of flesh. So Barry thought that it would be easier to destroy.
Barry gave the statue several slashes and stabs until finally, he got the text notification saying that he had succeeded in killing it.

The statues came towards them from all directions. Barry estimates there are around ten of them. But that could increase at any moment.
As usual, Barry and Elaine are the ones who fight the most while the others wait behind.
Danny keeps shooting. Though, he only caused the least damage and killed the fewest among the others.
What makes things worse is, that Danny has run out of ammunition he brought.
The sound of Danny's assault rifle echoed throughout the amusement park building as he fired at a lion statue that was running toward him.
He keeps firing at his head. The statue collapsed a moment later but it wasn't dead.
Danny, driven by his frustration at not finding a better weapon, ran towards the statue and then used the butt of his rifle to destroy the statue's head which had been riddled with bullets.
The statue died shortly thereafter. However, the text that appeared made Danny's eyes widen.

Danny immediately held the weapon and looked at its stats with a rush and a pounding heart.

The bow is 1.4 meters long. There are intricate carvings on its wood and its strings appear to be dimly lit.
"Whoa! You got a bow?!" Anna stared at the bow in Danny's hand with wide eyes.
"Yes," Danny replied with a big smile. "But I don't have any arrows."
"You don't seem to need arrows," Elaine, who was watching from a distance, said. "Just channel your Magic Power to create arrows. That's usually how it works."
"Oh, is that so?"
Excited, Danny pulled the string and channeled his Magic Power. A moment later his Magic Power materialized into a white arrow.
"Alright!" Danny, who was excited, immediately stood up and aimed at one of the statues that was running toward him.
He didn't take long to aim because of his skill.
*SYUTT!*
The arrow shot from the bow and stuck straight into the statue's head. It then collapsed backward and didn't move anymore.
The 100-plus damage he inflicted from his arrow was nothing short of impressive.
Danny grinned from ear to ear. Finally, a suitable weapon for him.
"The big guy is coming!" Barry suddenly shouted from a distance.
"Whoa, did you just get that bow?" he asked when he saw there was a bow in Danny's hand.
"Yeah!" Danny answered excitedly.
Barry grinned. "Nice. Now shoot that guy!"
The one that came towards them was a human statue three meters high. It was made of bronze and held a cane.
Its smiling face is abnormally large with sharp teeth making its appearance a hundred times more scary and disturbing than the other statues.
