Hammer Series: The Knight
It has been a week since the visit of Ouyang Long, there is not much change in the life of Mo Chen, in this week he sold 200 arrows, 3 swords and a spear.
Just as he was expecting a normal day, he saw couple of people coming. It was Ouyang Long and along with him a lady was coming. She was carrying the Ice and Fire sword with her, he believe she is his sister.
Mo Chen "Good morning Young master Ouyang. Miss Ouyang"
Ouyang Long greeted back. Miss Ouyang also nodded.
Ouyang Long "Mr Mo, I decided to believe on you. So, I came here."
Mo Chen then looked at the Ouyang Yue.
Ouyang Long "She is here to protect me, Mr Mo will not mind her presence right."
Mo Chen has no issues.
Mo Chen "Then Mr Ouyang please deposit your spiritual stones here, I will take you to the arena."
Ouyang Yue was little angry hearing this, without even displaying the weapon, he asked to deposit the money. But, Ouyang Long, deposited as instructed.
Mo Chen then lead them to the inside hall. Then there were stairs which led to below. Ouyang Yu has here hands on her sword ready to draw if she saw some hidden action.
Once they followed the stairs they entered a huge hall. It is very huge, almost covered the length of the martial arts school and it was very tall either almost reaching 200 meters.
Mo Chen "Don't worry this is the arena built to practice."
Then Mo Chen led them to a room. There was a table and a board on the room. There were few chairs as well.. He made them sit on the chairs and took a chalk to write on board.
Mo Chen "Mr Ouyang you have to listen carefully , you can ask me any questions if you have in the end."
Both of them nodded.
Mo Chen "What I am explaining you is the fighting classification I have made based on the fighting styles."
Mo Chen " There are primarily two types of fighting styles, Close Combat and Long Range combat."
Mo Chen "Close combat is further classified in Pure attacker, Pure defense and mixed system which are good in both attack and defense.."
Mo Chen "In long range is further classified into Sniper, heavy fire and there are different combinations among them."
Mo Chen "Then there is mix between close combat and long range combat, who are good at both close range attack and long range attack."
Mo Chen "Each style has a strong point and a weak point."
Mo Chen "For example, pure defense type fighters, will not have many attack capabilities, so they are useless alone. Similarly pure attack type fighters have weaker defense, they are good at attacking but with week defense they have a chance to loose when taking attacks."
Mo Chen "For example Miss Ouyang fighting style is flexible and she attacks fast, but her defense is week as she will not wear heavy armor to enhance defense as it will affect her flexibility."
Both of them nodded, they understand to some extent.
Mo Chen "Then if you were to choose a style, which style would you choose."
Ouyang Long "I always wanted to fight in close range and I believe it would be good to have some long range capabilities as well. Can I choose hybrid style."
Mo Chen then good. "Please follow me, " he then led them to the adjacent hall. There they were shocked to see 8 huge humanoid figures, they were made of complete metals. Each of them is around 6meters tall in various body shapes.
Ouyang Long looked at the name displayed before each of them.
Hammer series : The Guardian
The figure looked around 7 meters tall and very bulky. It is completely covered in dense armor and carrying a heavy shield which itself is 3 meter tall.In other hand carrying a spear. There is a small turret type extension on its shoulders.
Hammer Series :The Barbarian
The figure looked equally heavy and strong, but instead of carrying a shield its carrying a heavy sword.
Hammer Series : The warrior
It is not as heavy as the guardian, but it is carrying both sword and shield. The shield is lot smaller compared to the one with guardian and sword is also smaller compared to the barbarian.
Hammer series : The eagle
It didn't look heavy but very small, it looked 6 meter tall and built small. There was single turret on its arms it looked very flexible.
Hammer Series : The Castle
It was the heaviest of the weapons they saw. It is also one with 4 legs, It has many turrets on its body. It is not humanoid but looked more like a dog.
Hammer series : The centaur:
It is also having four legs, but it is not bulky, it has humanoid figure in the front of horse, it has few turrets on its back and also a sword on its front. It is the biggest .

Finally Mo Chen stopped before it. Ouyang Long understood it is the weapon Mo Chen was looking for him. For some reason he felt great attachment to it.
It looked 6.5 meters tall, it is carrying both a shield and sword and same way there were two turrets on its back. It didn't look bulky at all. It looked very flexible from the structure of it legs, similar to the structure of the eagle. But it is more heavy compared to eagle.
Mo Chen "This weapons are called mechas, you will be able to control them to fight. You can already understand some details I believe."
Mo Chen "The one before you is called the knight, it is from hybrid model. It is medium weight category. It has both close combat and long range combat. For close combat it uses combination of sword and shield. For long range it uses rail gun and a cannon. It does not have any area attack capabilities. It has medium flexibility."
Mo Chen "It is all rounder it has all abilities. But it is not too good in any of them. "
Ouyang Long nodded he can understand some reason behind it. There were three more mechas next to knight but he was not interested.
But Ouyang Yue was attracted to one of the mecha's there. It read The swordsman. It is similar size to the eagle and it is only carrying a sword to fight there is a small turret.
Similarly there is another machine next to it, it was same weight class as the swordsman but it is carrying a turret . They have some understanding looking around by now.
Mo Chen "Now you have seen the mecha's. You can reconsider your choise. If you want to still stick with it or switch to other."
Ouyang Long "No, I like 'the knight ', how will I control it."
Mo Chen now that you have made choice I will take you to arena. As he said that he took out a bracelet that was next to the knight.
