Without wasting a moment, Atasha rushed to Howl's side. Her heart was racing with the drums in her chest as she knelt down to check for a pulse. 

Finding it weak but steady, she let out a sigh of relief, but her welled-up tears continued to shed. He was still unconscious, and she knew she had to do something.

She positioned herself over him, placing her hands on his chest, and began to pump rhythmically, trying to revive him.

Guilt crept in like a ghost in her sleep.

Is this because of her? 

"Just… just what did you do? Oh god, you dumbass. I only told you to find someone else not to meet your maker in the afterlife!" She yelled angrily, tears fell like daggers, as she continued to press her hands on his chest.

She then tilted his head back, pinched his nose shut, and gave him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
