Chapter 27: The Crazy Woman In Love
"My lord, the Slane Theocracy has refused to give us the world-class item. instead, it has challenged you to a duel. winner takes all." Albedo said with a smile, leaving Ainz speechless for a moment, but he didn't think the Slane Theocracy would be so foolish, they have to have a trump card.
"Dracula... what do you think the Slane Theocracy goal would be for challenging me." Ainz massaged Dracula, who was waiting for his wish to be granted.
"Oh, I forgot to tell you. They have a half-elf and half-human. She is around level 75. I also sensed divine grade, with it, she might be able to reach level 100." Dracula said calmly, a 100 without gear was far weaker than a 100 with gear. for this reason, Shalltear is far weaker with her gear, if the statues screen took into account the increase in stats with gear, then everyone's stats would be above 100.

Of course, Albedo held a world item to protect against anything, and Dracula was searching from afar to ensure nothing happens
"So, you challenge me?" Ainz asked while standing before the heads of the Slane Theocracy, causing them all to shake slightly in fear. they were in what seemed to be an arena, it seemed like they were using an item to have others watch in on them, but it would be hard for them to see Ainz,
"our world item is the treasure of our kingdom, we can't just hand it over... but in a duel where you show your might. we would have no choice but to step back, and no one would have anything else to say about it." Pontifex said shocked that Ainz came to her knowing they had a world-class item
"You seemed to have forgotten my words. I wasn't asking, I gave you all an order... so where is the world item?" Ainz said but her attention was caught by a person covered form had to towards in armor. Divinve grade items, in her hands, was a war scythe
"Haha... so this is your trump card?" Ainz said, making Pontifex uneasy slightly. but he said nothing, while everyone made way for Ainz and Antilene to have their fight. Ainz looked at Antilene for a moment before shaking his head, after which he had Albedo step back while he felt with her.
Albedo had a slight frown as Antilene was stronger than she expected, but Ainz had his gear, so Antilene was no match even if she had all that armor on. Antilene wasted no time and shot towards Ainz with her scythe cutting towards him, but Ainz just stood there, before casting Greater Resistences. the scythe hit him, but it was bounced back, upon to injure him in the slightest.
"thats not a close-range weapon, but a magic castle item. it's wasted in your hands. for that, it can't even touch me while you swing it around like that." Ainz said calmly, leaving Antilene and those who were prey for her to win, to widen their eyes in shock.
"Go on... I want to see what made you think I was to be messed with." Ainz said his voice filled with rage, Antilene was shaken by Ainz's words. but she closed in, and used all of her power, and attacked, in the end, she managed to stretch Ainz... but the cut disappeared the next moment.
"Antilences, quickly use it!" Pontifex said, almost about to go crazy seeing all of this. Altilene stepped back and quickly used her talent to do something which made Ainz's nonexistent eyebrow raise
"The Goal Of All Life Is Death." Antilene roared, as a clock appeared behind her, Albedo's body shook seeing this and quickly flashed before Ainz, but Ainz had her move to the side, while he simply watched this all.
"Death!" Antilene said, targeting Ainz. Did she want a child with a strong man? she realized now it was all a lie. She didn't care how strong her child would be, or if her man would be strong or not... she realized it after hearing of this upcoming duel.
'why is he not attacking?' Antilene thought, an uneasy feeling filling her heat as Ainz just stood there, looking at the clock behind her which was moving. all she had to do was avoid Ainz, dodge his attacks, and last 12 seconds. but Ainz wasn't attacking, of course, this should have been for the best... yet her instincts were telling her something else.
"the ultimate skill of the Eclipse class. I didn't think someone of this world would be able to use it." Ainz said, causing everyone to freeze as he knew this ability. so was he standing still and planning on doing what?
"So, did you accept your death?" Antilene asked, her gut feeling told her that wasn't it, but way?
"it has many counters... it's an ability that should only be used when your enemy is left unable to counter it." Ainz said while casting a spell, he spells which he could only cast with an item. Phoenix Flame
"This spell is unblockable, it's the strongest spell there is," Antilene said as the time ran out, with that, Ainz died... wait, why was he still standing there, looking at her as if he was looking at a fool?
"Even the strongest weapon is wasted in the hands of a fool. indeed, it can't be resisted or blocked. everything does the moment that ability is infused into it... a simple counter is to make a plan to come back to life before it takes effect. at that point, it doesn't matter. That ability has no effect." Ainz said while behind him, a clock appeared, causing everyone's hearts to freeze
"So, should my next spell kill everyone in this kingdom, or what?" Ainz said bringing everyone to their knees, a horror look in their eyes.
"Half-elf... the fate which waited for you was a cruel one. but someone has taken an interest in your talent, and for that, you shall not suffer like the rest of them. but as of this moment, Slane Theocracy is no more. slaughter all of the nobles... no, bring them all to Nazarick, use the tools until they are broken." Ainz said his glowing red eyes burning bright with his rage.
"Lord of Death, Ainz Ooal Gown, please spare me." Instantly, the nobles began speaking, at this time, fuck the dead gods. was there, not a living and breathing one before them? sadly for them, Ainz left, leaving Albedo to have them all go to see Nazarick 5 worst. all of the nobles, the old or young, so long as they held some power in this kingdom. they entered Nazarick.
Antilene also went, but she was to watch as all of the higher-ups were broken. Did they go brain-dead? Don't worry, they were healed of that. they were broken? don't worry, they were fixed to continue. She was traumatized from seeing how so many people she once knew had to endure such torture. watching it alone was hell. but members from the Black Scripture were not suffering, no they were forced to watch alongside her. She was soon brought before someone she was not expecting.
"Greetings, it's been like what? 4 hours since we met?" Dracula asked with a smile, while Antilene stood there, frozen in shock. but after a moment, things began to click in her head, she began to laugh a crazy look in her eyes. This world was done, to think Dracula, Ainz, and that demon were players. all of this was an act, to rule the world.
"Shut up, you do not want to join your friends right?" Dracula asked with a gentle smile, causing the mad laugh to disappear almost instantly. Dracula seeing this nodded, he knew having her match them with each of the worst would help her listen.
"I had you be spare from their suffering because you're a talent, and because you had no hand in Shalltear being brainwashed. that night you were not there. for these 2 reasons, I'm going to allow you to not suffer, I will give you the chance to save 5 people. as you have noticed, not all of them are suffering as many of them were forced to watch. but I will have those whose name you don't speak to join them." Dracula said calmly, causing Antilene to shakingly speak
"t-the Captain of the Black Scripture," She said to which Dracula nodded while watching her struggle to bring up a name through her tears.
"Infinity Magic," Antilene said her face covered with tears, her body shaking for the rest. sure she might not like everyone, but even she felt bad for everyone. She might have done everything to save them, if not for her fear of having to suffer the same fate.
"t-the children?" Antilene asked softly, making my eyebrow raise. she at least wanted the child to be free from their suffering... no, death was better
"I will think about it, but that would use up everything else you have," Dracula said calmly, making Antilene's heart skip for a moment, but she nodded.
"Good, those you have listed would either suffer far worse than those currently suffering, or not suffer at all depending on how good of a dog you will be," Dracula said with a cold smile, causing chills to run up Antilene's spine.
"I-i will obey." She said while kneeling, more tears covering her face. Dracula nodded at her words before having her stand.
"you are amongst the strongest this world has to offer. I will allow you to keep that divine-grade armor. in return, I have you do many things. first is your blood, I will need one gallon of it daily." Dracula said calmly while throwing her a water bottle which instead held blood. it had the unique ability to keep blood fresh. Dracula liked his blood fresh. it could also hold a gallon of blood, even though it seemed too small to hold such a thing.
"for other matters, we would deal with later. you're currently on the 6th floor of Nazarick, this would be your home. do you have any questions?" Dracula asked, to which Antilene shook her head,
"thats great, then I should be on my way. here is your food, start growing weak because you're not eating, and I will be annoyed." I said calmly, to which Antilene quickly took the food, even though just looking at it reminded her of the scene of cockroaches entering people's mouths, breaking their jaw due to how many there were. their throat grew as just the huge amount of cockroaches entered it. their stomach grew as if they were pregnant, and they were eaten away.
their eyelids were bitten through, down to their eyeballs, their tongues... and they couldn't scream as their throat was blocked by the huge amount of cockroaches. they couldn't breathe, but they were made so they don't need to breathe, but the longer they go without breathing, they would feel like any other person holding their breath. in other words, they would feel like they were suffocating,
she lay there, tears flowing down her eyes. In the end, she rolled up into a ball and cried herself to sleep right there.
"Demiurge, have the Captain of the Black Scripture go to your farm. I'm curious to look at who he could greed with." Dracula said calmly to Demiurge who was walking behind him. the Captain of the Black Scripture had the blood of a player running through him, he was what they called a Demigod.
Demiurge's body shook in joy at Dracula's words, how could he not exist at the thought of playing with such an interesting thing?
"be gentle with it, don't go ahead breaking it. go knows if he could be useful. on that note... try to locate the 6 gods' the 8 Greed kings' resting place, and those 2 players from 200 years ago. I want to see if I can bring them back to life. if they knew how to behave, they would not need to follow those trained to listen. or we could just use the world-class item on them." Dracula said calmly,
"the world item has high requirements to who can wear it. only a human can wear it, a human who specializes in charm. of course, you have Nifrea talent, so you can use it without trouble." Demiurge said softly, to which I nodded slightly.
"then bring it to me... also, have the demon gods been free?" Dracula asked, to which Demiurge shook his head.
"the platinum Dragon Lord has given us all of the sealed away locations, but it would take some time to free them all. you were also right my lord, they do seem to be NPC created by the 8 Greed kings." Demiurge said softly, to which I nodded slightly.
"have the kids be free... leave them with broken minds and make them perfect tools that listen to orders. they need not think, an assassin only needs to follow orders." I said calmly, to which Demiurge nodded slightly while looking at Dracula weird
"if I may ask... why are you so instead in assassins?" Demiurge asked, to which I laughed slightly. I was quiet for a moment before speaking.
"We need a level 100 assassin. if the other guys had a level 100 assassin, would we not be in great danger? plus, I think it would be cool to have a powerful assassin protect me from the shadows." I asked while thinking of a scene of me walking through a base, hands behind my back while assassins moved up ahead, secretly killing everyone. clearing the way for me while I arrived before the boss, who was shocked to find all his men were gone.
He would be like, what did you do to my man? and I would be like... 'I have seen no one on the way here, maybe they went for a walk.' then a cooly smoked a cigarette.
"I see..." Demiurge said with a slight smile, they didn't have many assassins in the guild. yes, one of the supreme beings was an assassin, but no NPC was a powerful assassin. he felt ashamed for not thinking of this sooner. how could a kingdom not have a powerful assassin group ready to carry out their master order...
He left, leaving Dracula to head Dracula entered his room while reading a book. the shadows, two figures hiding within the shadows of his room moved, aiming to stab Dracula's neck. but Dracula easily dodged their attempts, while not even looking up and reading his book.
"We were so close," Ureirika said with a pout, while Kuuderika just remained quiet. it's been nearly 4 months since these two twins entered Nazarick. At this time, Dracula didn't hold back from training the two future Assassins, they were talented, already capable of assassinating those the likes of Gazef.
it didn't mean they were strong, they were assassins, and they were skilled in killing those stronger than themselves. they had the best stealth techniques, they knew how to conceal their aura and killing intent, and could easily read a target like reading a book. these two kids might even be near Ainz without him knowing.
"you two have your ways to go," Dracula said while closing the book and looking at them, it was not fair to have them face him when he had sharp senses and sharp instincts. but it was Thanks Mountain they were trying to overcome that allowed them to go so fast
"anyways, you have your first mission today," Dracula said calmly, causing the two to quickly stand still while paying close attention to their mission.
"you're to find and kill an assassin named Tira. She is the twin sister of the two twins in Blue Roses and is in a group called Ijaniya. I had you train to be able to survive on your own, tell when to retreat and when to stand. but I never had you guys take a life... this is your time to do this. go, kill her, and bring back her body. head to toe. leave behind as little clue of you being there... as for the time limit, it's 1 year." Dracula said calmly, causing Ureirika's face to drop, while Kuuderika's face showed nothing. but her eyes told she two was unease about this mission.
"the reward... you would get to see your sister. so be strong, I believe in you guys." Dracula said with a gentle smile. to which the two siblings nodded their heads.
"thats not everything, in this mission, you would have to learn many things. how to gather information, how to avoid catching others' attention, and many others. leave behind the gear, you would be going in simple clothing. You might hear news about my death, ignore that. It's a plan I'm cooking up to defeat some bad guy. and for that, the world has to think I'm dead." I said to which the twins although stunned nodded, while taking off their gear. Dracula ignored them and returned to his book.
after all was done, they put on simple gear and got ready to set off on their mission. for this, a Gate opened for them, they entered and found themselves in the middle of nowhere. it was also dark and cold, which made them scared.
"Be strong, and remember your teaching." Dracula's voice sounded from the gate before it closed, leaving the two twins scared, but they put on brave looks and went on to work on making a campfire like Dracula taught them. but they would soon learn that this drew unwanted attention...
In the Re-Estize Kingdom, many people gathered, all surrounding a statue of Dracula, who held two chaos blades resting on his shoulder. he stood straight as an arrow, with a gentle smile while he looked towards the future up ahead.
Many place flowers before his statue, and other places the picture book they owned before the statue. someplace their blood and others leave their tears. many things were left at the foot of the statue,
it's been a week since Dracula's death, and within this time the news of Dracula's death had reached many ears along with Dracula's recording, along with Momon's. today was the day of the funeral, which was held by the public. Dracula was most loved in this kingdom, so his loss was felt the most.
Momon was nowhere to be seen, as he was busy searching for that demon, Dracula's body had yet to be found. No sign of the Evil Lord Of Wrath could be found, it's almost like he disappeared. Ainz and Momon had personally gone to the floating castle, but no one was there. the floating castle was currently Under Ainz's rule along with all of its treasures,
Undead had already entered the kingdom, of course, it was simple undead-like skeletons, over time Ainz planned to increase the quality of the undead. but for now, having these simple undead go, with 10 death knights wouldn't scare the people too much
They were scared, but Ainz had made some trouble happen, and the skeleton moved to protect the people while subduing the troublemaker. like this, although still scared the people tried not to be scared of them. plus, there were undead seen doing work, such as helping in rebuilding the kingdom, standing at the city walls, acting as a lookout
But it was on this very day, a hole appeared in the sky. the people of Re-Estize Kingdom looked at the sky, seeing a portal open, where a vampire they knew well stepped out... what was Honyopenyoko doing here? She flew down, landing before him and quickly charmed them.
"Where is Dracula?" She asked, to which the charmed man answered in a blank tone.
"Dracula has died at the hands of the demon." the man said, causing Honyopenyoko to go blank for a moment before she laughed mockingly.
"My love dying at the hand of that demon? I will kill you right now, but my love would be unhappy with that. so you can live." She said coldly, slapping him away like a fly. everyone seeing this grew into a panic before they all ran off in a panic,
Shalltear ignored them, she looked at the statue of Dracula behind her and she grew annoyed... her love couldn't die. right? flying off, she fled towards the castle, where she easily killed the dead knights and headed towards the king, while Gazef and many others stepped in her way.
"why are you here?" Gazef asked with a deep frown, Shalltear looked at the ant before her before looking at the king.
"I heard the vampire king and lord has died. I of course know thats a lie, so I came to prove them all wrong by bringing Dracula back home. knowing my love, he would be displeased about the fact his kingdom is about to fall into chaos. as his wife, it's my job to support my love." Shalltear said calmly, causing sweat to cover all of the nobles.
"didn't you steal his heart and give it to Jaldabaoth?" Gazef couldn't help but ask with a weird look, to which Shalltear just waved off.
"People were saying Dracula didn't love me or whatever. I simply proved them wrong by showing them how he would drop everything to bring me home. he truly loves me, our bond, and our connections are special. he thought I ran off with someone else, and out of jealousy, he came to get me. Is that now true love? although it hurts he thinks I would betray him, but is alright. I can never hate my love. he can do no wrong... now where is he?" She asked with a blush while thinking of her love.
"..." Everyone at that moment had the same thought, this woman was crazy. but that was bad if she knew Dracula had died. they all might be killed
"the last I saw Dracula he went to fight Jaldabaoth... after which they disappeared, everyone is under the illusion Dracula has died. we are still trying to search for him, to see what happened." Renner said softly, giving Shalltear a half truth. Shalltear face twisted in annoyance,
"How annoying... I guys I will have to use the ring he gave me to find him. oh, my fear beloved, just wait for me. I'm coming." Shalltear said while flying through the sealing, leaving everyone to look toward Renner.
"have her and the demon fight... Dracula had told me the reason he was pushed into marrying her was because of her strength. when she enters a blood Frenzy, she is said to be strong, strong enough to even defeat Dracula if she plays everything right." Renner said softly, leaving everyone stunned
"if she knew Dracula died, she would have killed us all... but with how crazy she is, she might not even believe our words. She has to see it for yourself. Momon and Ainz would hopefully sense the battle that follows and go finish things off." Renner said, making everyone impressed at the fact she thought all of this so quickly
"..." the king looked at his daughter with a complex look, he hadn't seen her smile ever since Dracula's death... and now for this to happen. he watched her just walk away, but he moved to calm his people while having someone tell Ainz of this.
