Chapter 14: The Fantastic Four

"Johnny stop bothering Ben...he said an experiment went wrong, but he was going to figure it out". Susan says without any hint of concern for her apparent boyfriend.
"Well, I better do it, because I'm not going to let a monster be my brother-in-law".
"Don't call him a monster, we're just dating". Susan responds to her reckless brother.
After listening to his conversation for a while, Peter manages to put together some missing pieces of his theory.
(Okay I can see that Reed and Susan broke up, and now she's in a relationship with Victor...Doom had an accident before this? Was it magic or something else? I don't remember this happening in the movie...hopefully my plan works).
"We are leaving the atmosphere, fasten your seatbelts and prepare for turbulence". After Reed's warning, the others stopped talking and fastened their seatbelts waiting to pass the turbulence.
Peter who just stood behind them, didn't need a belt, just sticking his feet to the ground he wouldn't move even if the ship was destroyed.
After a while, they leave the atmosphere and observe the splendor and wonder of space filled with stars and an infinite world of possibilities.
After Peter himself was captivated by outer space, since he had never seen it, he watched as the ship headed towards some clouds that looked beautiful and colorful but also ominous and ominous.
"Alright, we're here, Ben, do you remember the plan?" Reed asks.
"Yes, don't worry, I just have to install the device so that it collects the energy". Ben tells his friend not to worry, puts on the suit, and leaves through the door of the ship into the dark void of space.

Without anyone noticing, the 5th suit, which belonged to Victor, was taken by Peter who camouflaged himself and left with Ben towards space.
While Ben installed the device, Peter hooked an invisible web to the ship and floated into the cosmic clouds.
Peter planned to use all the magical knowledge he had acquired so far to enclose the cosmic energy in a temporary cubic spell that would allow him to study and use that energy at his convenience, it was a risky bet because if he failed, the energy of the clouds would end up consuming him, and transforming him into a monster.
Forming signs and accumulating all the energy he could gather from his surroundings, a huge spell made up of various colorful patterns appeared, attracting the attention of Ben who was the only one who could see, the others inside the ship did not have Ben's point of view. , and the spell didn't appear on their radar so they didn't find out.
Ben, who had never seen anything like it, panicked but remembered his mission and decided to finish installing the device, which ironically has the function of attracting energy just like Peter's spell.
The spell was absorbing the cosmic clouds and in the process, a square of energy was forming that Peter had to maintain and compress so that it did not explode. Knowing this, Peter was not stressed he observed the space in amazement and had time to see Ben turning to see the spell since unfortunately he still could not turn his spells invisible.
Inside the ship, everyone watched as Ben turned towards a place he couldn't see and suddenly in panic, he rushed to finish the installation.
"Reed, what's wrong? Why does Ben look like that?". Susan asked worriedly.
"I don't know, let me check". Reed began to check the ship and observe what was on that side of the ship that he couldn't see.
"He's just scared, like a giant, cowardly baby". Even though Johnny said that you could tell he was a little tense.
"I don't see anything on that side, but in front of us the readings are chaotic, the clouds are moving towards our direction, and it seems as if something is attracting them".
Peter unknowingly accelerated the impending canon event that would let the world know who the Fantastic Four were.
Seeing how the clouds were moving frantically towards them, Reed decided to put on his suit and go look for Ben, Susan and Johnny decided to go with him, leaving the ship's door open.
Peter, who had almost finished completing the spell and obtaining cosmic energy that not everyone has access to, watched as the square of the spell was compressed until it fit in the palm of his hand, with a movement of his wrist the square disappeared and Peter began to return to the ship.
When he approached, he saw how the 3 crew members rushed towards Ben, who in his eagerness to finish the installation did not realize that a cosmic cloud was heading towards the ship.
(I see, so the absorption of the spell attracted the clouds earlier than normal, it seems that everything is destined for them to become the Fantastic Four).
Watching from the door of the ship, Peter saw how the cosmic cloud hit the four, Susan, Reed, and Johnny returned to the ship faster, Ben who stayed behind after hearing his friends' warning, was at risk of being more exposed and ended up being the thing.
(I guess he could help).
Throwing a web, Peter who was now a little exposed to space and the cosmic clouds grabbed Ben and threw him into the ship. The others, seeing that Ben was magically pushed through the air until they reached the ship, closed the hatch without knowing anything about the 5th crew member who accompanied them.
"Ben, are you okay?", Susan asks.
"Yes, I'm fine, just a little dazed from hitting the wall".
"What the fuck was that?! You flew through the air! Or should I say space, how did you do that!". Johnny exclaims in amazement.
"Ben, what happened? Why were you in such a hurry?". Reed asks with concern.
Ben explains to them that while he was installing the device he turned around and saw a giant image of a kind of multicolored pentagram that was bigger than the ship and that he got scared and that's why he didn't realize that the cloud was approaching so fast.
"A pentagram, you say? In space? Are you sure?". Reed asks with doubt and worry that Ben has gone crazy.
"Haha, a pentagram in space he says, hahaha, now the giant baby has gone crazy".
"Susan I'm going to kill your brother".
"Johnny shut up, Ben, are you sure? It's not that he doesn't believe you, but a pentagram in space". Susan asks, trying to find out more information.
"I say a pentagram, but in reality, there were more things, more strange drawings that were mixed, of different colors and they were absorbing those clouds, also while I was running after you, I suddenly felt as if something was pulling me and throwing me inside of the ship".
"...Yes, we also saw that last part, if what you say is true then this is something very big, and for some reason, we are involved whether we want it or not".
"What!? What do you mean!? What are you saying? Are you saying that the giant, ugly baby is telling the truth and that there is magic in space? Please, Richards, you have to be kidding".
"Johnny, you also saw how Ben entered the ship, if you want to deny it, fine, but the evidence is there".

Suddenly everyone goes silent thinking about what just happened.
"Hey, I'm is it the only thing that feels bad?". We can go home, Ben says, seeing that the cosmic clouds are still raging outside the ship.
Everyone agreeing that the mission failed, they turn around and return to earth, with a heavy mood the 4 crew members remain silent knowing that they failed.
Unlike them, Peter is in a good mood since he accomplished his small, improvised last-minute mission.
(I could return home with a portal, but something tells me this was all too easy, and not to be the bearer of bad news, but good things come with bad things).
Deciding to observe the crew with his thermal vision, Peter sees how Johnny's temperature is constantly rising and Reed's is falling, Ben seems to be between 2, and finally, Susan, Peter sees how her body temperature is disappearing.
(They're not going to transform here, are they? Let's hope they last until the ship lands).
While the ship is entering the atmosphere as if it were the work of destiny, the ship begins to flash red and all the alarms turn on, scared and surprised (except Peter) Reed checks what is wrong with the ship.
"What is happening!!". Susan shouts.
"We are going to die!! I haven't gotten married yet!!".
"Shut your mouth you idiot, we're not going to die!"
"There is a failure in the engines!! The cosmic cloud storm damaged the left side of the ship!!" Reed shouts to the others since his voice cannot be heard.
Peter, who was listening to what they were saying, could only sigh at the bad luck these guys had.
(So what do I do? I'm going to save them but do I reveal myself to them? No, they're going to blame me for everything that happened, so I'll save the ship so it doesn't crash).
Deciding what course of action to take, Peter waited for the ship to finish entering the earth and opened a portal to exit. When he was outside the ship he began to shoot webs everywhere, forming a giant parachute made of spider webs, he knew. that he was going to endure, since his organic web also constantly evolves, along with his entire physique.
The 4 of them felt a strong impact and soon they were no longer plummeting towards New York City.
Trying to figure out what was happening, they opened the cargo compartment and could see a giant parachute supporting the ship.
"... I am dreaming?".
"... No, I don't think so".
"But what the fuck".
"...Very good, there was no giant parachute on the ship".
While the 4 of them were wondering what was happening, Peter who had already done a good deed, returned to Kamar-Taj.
That day NYC saw how a shuttle fell on a parachute with 4 crew members inside, in the not-so-distant future they would be called the Fantastic Four.
