Post Battle

Lua had seemingly passed out for some time. When he woke up, he realised that it had already turned to night. He was covered in the blood of the bear, but the corpse was nowhere to be seen. He tried to lift his right arm, but the gauntlets that once provided him with strength now acted like shackles instead.

My head… Did I overexert myself? I want to roll over and sleep… He said, and dozed off. He awoke again a few hours later, this time not by his own will, but with the aid of his trusty war horse, Secim. The young Jolin was licking Lua's wounds on his arms in hopes of treating him.

Good boy… Lua wanted to say out loud, but he couldn't find the strength. He simply smiled instead of speaking.
