In a yurt that wasn't very far away from the Chief's, Lua laid awake as his senses gradually returned. This tent was not nearly as spacious as the Chieftain's, but it was still considerably larger than the other ones. Lua had come to the realisation that this was likely Vinon's home. He had learnt that she was the daughter of the Chieftain, so it wasn't unreasonable that her tent was larger than the average.

What he wanted to know was why these people lived in tents. In this snowy environment, not only did they live in the poorly-insulated yurts, but they also dressed very openly. They seemed to think the cold never existed in the first place.
