Chapter 134: Nobility

Lua and Kate arrived at the early hours of the morning. In the middle of the brick city, a large mansion stood out from the rest of the scenery. It looked so out of place that it was as if the whole city was built around it. The building had a church for the Lady of War in the garden, being one of the few religious symbols in the city.

Despite being called a Holy Kingdom, the country was surprisingly secular. The country was ruled by an Emperor instead of a Pope. The Pope's power was rather figurative instead, only acting as a symbol that coronated the Emperor. This is where they were able to claim the title of "Holy" from.
