Wailing loudly, the maid crumpled to the ground.

Chie gritted her teeth.

She was not above risking her neck to save a maid, but everyone knew that Keiko was the maid she personally recommended.

"It is possible that someone ruined Fumiko-chan's room before the cat even entered," she said. "Keiko mistook the cat for the culprit. This is an honest mistake. We should not accuse Keiko of a crime she did not do. She already worked here for almost four years. If we do not trust her, we cannot trust any of our maids and servants."

Midori sneered.

"By that definition, are you saying that my maid Yuri is the culprit? She is new here and she is my personal maid."
