Oh, it was so unfair, Midori thought to herself.

One word and she was pulled back into the sweet moment they shared today, just before parting ways at the St. Anne's Academy.

Midori took a strand of her long hair and wrapped it around her little finger. Biting into her lower lip, she spoke into the phone.

"Akiyama-san, it's so nice to hear from you again."

"I miss you," the man's sultry voice said with a little sigh.

"Awww."

Midori wanted to say that she missed him too, but she did not want to lie to someone as decent as Akiyama. She also hated the fact that the protagonist managed to spin her head and turn her world upside down within one hour, not more.

"Our path toward matrimony is unfortunately a long-winded road, but I am glad that you agree to give me a chance."

Midori bit harder into her lower lip.

She had to say something.

Akiyama deserved to hear the truth.
