Chapter 57: FIANCE

"H-Huh?" Laleen asked, quite stunned. She wasn't expecting that from him in the slightest and she couldn't help thinking how Shane wouldn't be too keen on meeting her parents.

But her father's serious face didn't change.

"We would like to see who exactly our daughter's married to. Not from the screen this time"

Laleen blinked repeatedly as if taking in what he said.

"Oh. I'll make sure to tell him"

Her father nodded, "Good."

Laleen smiled not knowing what else to say but inside she was starting to panic.

How was she supposed to handle this?!

The rest of her time on her short visit to her parents' house was peaceful and without a hitch.

By 2 pm, Laleen had returned to the car that had been assigned to her since she became Shane's wife and let the driver drive her back to the mansion.

But midway to their destination, Laleen suddenly felt the urge to pee. She tried to hold it in but she wasn't able to.
