Chapter 28: Queens and strippers

There are queens and there are strippers, in this society there must be balance and that has been the role I lived by.

The lights came on and I heard the crowd begin to cheer happily.

I placed my hand on the flat surface of the door and pushed it open, I took my first steps into the casino.

I glanced around and I could see all eyes on me.

"Are you ready?." He said without a facial expression.

I nodded to his words and walked deeper into the casino while he did the same.

I slide through the crowd till my eyes lay on my prayer.

I took one final glance around, I swallowed the saliva in my mouth and pressed my fingers together. I walked elegantly towards the man in a red suit till I became visually acquainted with him.

I quietly sat at the far end while I counted how many footsteps it was going to take the young man to get where I was seated.

"3…2…1." 

"Good day lady." He greeted me.
