Chapter 19: Cryo vs Astra Part 1
"OH COME ON! You can't tell me NONE of you fools are willing to fight!?"
"Zera, surrender and we can find a peaceful resolution-"
"SURRENDER? SILVANA ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND!? I'VE BEEN WAITING WEEKS TO FINALLY HAVE THIS MOMENT"
"Its two against one, how exactly do you think you're going to win this?"
"I don't have to think at all because I KNOW that there is only one outcome to this"
"Fine, have it your way"
At that moment Hunter and Zaranah had arrived at the scene panting from the long sprint they had to just indure.
"Grand Priestess! Vice Priest! we have a major problem here"
Zaranah put her arm out to stop Hunter from moving any closer
"What the... Zera is that you?"
"ZARANAH, HUNTER GET THE HELL AWAY LUCIEN AND I WILL HANDLE THIS!"
"Handle what!? What's going on!?"
"MOVE NOW! THATS AN ORDER!"
Zera dashed towards the two Guardians and swung her staff with immeasurable speed and strength smashing Hunter across the jaw sending him crashing into the wall, thankfully Zaranah leaned her body back in time and managed to dodge her but swiftly after that Zera spun around and struck Zaranah with a powerful kick to her chest causing her to fly down the hallway.
"And here I thought you guys were the best of the best, what a fucking joke"
"Zera STOP-"
"Lucien...SHUT UP! your mission has not changed, get the apostle out of this god forsaken palace...she's mine"
Silvana was talking in a monotone, her breathing had slowed down a significant amount. She began clenching her fists so much that her nails had cut into her palm causing them to bleed.
From Zeras point of view Silvanas body began to fade from the head down. There were not any shadows or light to cause that effect, it was simply as if she had just vanished.
"What ya looking at?"
Zera instantly turned around and was met by the fist of Silvana, striking her in the face. She flew right through the ceiling crashing through the last few floors before landing on the roof of the palace.
"AAAHHHHH! THAT FUCKING WHORE!"
Zera was holding her nose in agonizing pain, Silvana had broken it. Blood was leaking all over her face and onto her clothing.
She held her nose with both hands and popped it back into place.
"Honestly I personally thought a broke nose is a great look on you"
There she was, standing behind Zera once more who was still sitting on the floor.
Zera got up and turned to face her while wiping the last few smudges of blood from her mouth.
"So what? Am I not worthy enough for you to use your staff?"
Zera held out her hand and just like she herself had done before, her staff came crashing through the floor and into her hand.
"That's correct"
Zera was enraged by her response, she began to grip her staff even tighter.
"Okay then, let's have some fun...dispel"
In the same manner that her staff had manifested...it disappeared. Mancers are capable of dispeling their charms or in other words reversing them.
"The truth is I like you Silvana, so out of respect I'll make this even"
