Chapter 291: The talk (3)

Tobias stayed with Hazel for as long as he could, listening to what more she had to share with him or what she planned to do when she returned to the palace. He planned to support Hazel with the changes she wanted to make. 

He would do anything to get her from being in this space of wanting to harm herself.

Tobias stayed at the Collins estate until Hazel fell asleep and then slipped out as he was not finished with what he had to do in the palace. As he promised, there was more cleaning up before Hazel's return.

As a new day fell upon the palace, news quickly spread of Grant's death, men from the court being thrown into the palace dungeon to be later hanged, and the queen's maid. 

"Tobias," Liam said as he knocked on the door.

"Would it hurt you to address me as your king?" Tobias replied though he didn't mind.
