Chapter 179: The beginning (1)

"Look at you, cowering like a fool," Grant said, irritated by the sight of the young woman he was trying to make use of. "I gave you one simple task and yet, you have nothing to report back to me so why are you standing before me?" 

"I-I apologise. The queen's maid caught me and then-"

 "So why would you approach me when you have nothing of value to tell me? You've proven yourself to be a waste each time I see you. Perhaps it is time that I cast you to the side," Grant said, but still, he needed her. 

There wasn't someone as gullible as she was to always be ready to do what he wanted even though it might cost her life.

Julia panicked as she didn't want Grant to dispose of her. She tried many times to do something to make him happy. It wasn't her fault that the queen's maid came out at the same time she was listening to the conversation. "I will find something better this time. Please give me another chance."
