Chapter 20: Reverse
"Kid, since you have observed me for a year, you should know more about me, right?"
"Yeah, I am aware you are from another world, ridiculous as that sounds."
"Yeah, and from the world I came from, curse energy doesn't exist. Instead, spiritual energy is what people use to fight, heal, or use any other kind of power."
"Where are you going with this?"
"Just listen. Even if spiritual energy is the common thing to use, no all spiritual energy is the same. Back in my world, there are three main types: Hollow, Shinigami, and Quincy's."
"How does that relate to your reverse curse technique?"
"You see, it's possible to think of those energies as if you were playing a game of Pokemon."
"Pokemon?"
"If we are talking about Pokemon, I am Mewtwo."
"Okay, Satoru."
"I identify with Chansey."
"Whatever you say, Shoko."
"Do you three like to fool around like that?"
"It's just those two. As I was saying, because the spiritual energies are different, each of them are weak against the other. For example, a shinigami and a Quincy are opposites, while hollows are toxic toward quincys.
Ichigo's Idea was simple but complicated to accomplish, he wanted to awaken his Quincy powers and combine with his positive curse energy, just like it happened with his hollow energy.
"But even if you can awaken your reverse technique and combine your Quincy energy with it, how do you plan to use it to eliminate a heavenly pact?"
"The technique is not important to eliminate the heavenly pact. What matters is my Quincy spiritual energy, mixing with the positive curse energy. The technique is just a way to awakened."
"And how do you plan to do that?"
"Hmmm"
Ichigo wasn't sure how to answer that, in the past year, he had tried to awake his reverse technique. He practiced with the reverse curse technique, helping Shoko in her job and increasing his proficiency but not matter what he tried, he could awaken his reverse technique.
"To be honest I am not sure."
"Eh? If you want help with that, you could have asked me, you know."
"I know how you were able to awaken your technique, and the Gojo clan is known for being able to use it. You have a manual on how to create your technique. I don't, but I just thought of something, and I can use your help."
"I have an idea of how to awaken my technique. After studying positive curse energy and getting the basics, I already have an idea of the abilities I am going to get, but I am just missing a piece."

"Stimulus, something that threatens me, I have to experience a battle that will force to create my technique, and that is where you come in."
"hehehe, you want fight me? I am fine with that, but you know we cannot go all out."

"Okay my missing arm!! It doesn't matter if you two hold back. Monsters are still monsters even if they are injured!!"
"So dramatic. Come on, Ichigo, let's begin. I can't wait anymore."
"Okay, Shoko you have to get off my back now."
"Can I come and watch?"
"No, it is too dangerous. Who knows how much distraction we are going to cause."
"So I was right!!! Hey! Wait!"
Without caring about Mechamarus yells, Ichigo and Gojo exited the building.
"..."
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
While walking Ichigo notice Gojo was staring at him.
"My bad, I thought this isn't like you."
"What do you mean?"
"Usually, you would take your time, but you seem in a rush and even asked me for a fight, not a spar a fight."
"...Did you see how that kid is living?"
"Uh, I didn't feel the presence of other people, it looks like he has been alone for a while; this is just my guess, but after he learned how to control those puppets, the people who were taking care of him left him on his own."
"Yeah, forget a kid, no one should live like that, and after seeing his state, I couldn't wait. I was taking my time because Maki's Heavenly Pact is not that bad. Some people would prefer that over curse energy, but that heavenly pact placed on that kid is...cruel."

"Satoru, I want to help that child, and for that, I need to push my limits, so even if you cut my arm or I bleed to death, do-"

The two sorcerers stopped talking and stood opposite of each other, each taking a battle stance, lowering their knees, fist put forward.

The first one to launch was Gojo, his speed easily surpassing the sound barrier.

Ichigo blocked Gojo's fist with his hand and was going to grab it, but Gojo activated infinity.
"Tch, I thought you weren't going to use your techniques?
Smirking, Gojo looked at Ichigo.
"I change my mind."
"Is that so."
Finishing the little talk, Ichigo covered his body with positive energy and trow a kick at Gojo, aiming at his legs, unable to use infinity to block the attack since it was imbued with positive energy, he took a step back and did a roundhouse kick aiming at Ichigo's face.
Leaning backward Ichigo was able to dodge the kick and took the opportunity to grab Gojo's feet and throw him away.

It was possible to hear the sound of the wind, when Gojo was sent flying.
Boooom!!
But the impact was even louder.
The area got covered in dust and when it cleared, Gojo was standing there, without a scratch.
"Yeah, this is not working."
Quietly murmuring Ichigo looked towards Gojo and told him.
"Satoru, use red and blue."
"Huh!! Why woul-"
Gojo was going to complain but saw the look on Ichigo's face.
"Okay."
Launching once again, Gojo moved toward Ichigo, bit this he didn't throw a puch.
'Red'
A small red energy ball appeared at the tip of his finger. Ichigo tried to move back at incredible speeds, but the output of Gojo's technique was too much and sent him flying.
"Guh."
Ichigo was not using curse energy, and took the attack with his bare body, he was bleeding form his head and his arm was broken.
'If I had a normal body, I would be dead by now.'
Smirk
'Thank you, Satoru, for going along with my stupidity.'
Ichigo healed himself immediately and moved ahead, breaking the ground below him.
'Ichigo asked me to use red and blue, probably because he noticed that if we just go for hand-to-hand combat, nothing will happen, but the point of this fight is to push ichigo to his limits, but'
Gojo activates blue to absorb Ichigo's hand to block the attack, and it worked. Ichigo was a step low, and his hand was absorbed, ripping it away.
"Damn."
But his arm got healed in the blink of an eye.
'With Ichigo's natural healing ability and the reverse curse technique, is not weird to say that he has a near-immortal body, so even blue and red are not enough to exhaust him and reach his limits.'
Going for an upper-cut Gojo lowered his back and aimed at Ichigo's face.
'And Ichigo knows that, he know that to make him reach his limits, to make him close to death truly, I have to use purple.'
Gojo stood back and looked at Ichigo's face.
Smirk!
'You didn't say to use it, but your face is screaming at me for it.'
"And people say I am the crazy one."
'Okay, how can I refuse my friends request.'
The tension around Gojo increased, and the space around him started to distort.
"Don't die, Ichigo."
With one hand forward, Gojo unleashed the attack known for might.
"Hollow purple."
Letting the mass of purple light move forward at incredible speeds.
Ichigo saw the attack coming and he knew he had to dodge.
'No, the point of this fight is to surpass my limits, Satoru used purple because he knew this is the only attack that could help me with that.'
Making his feet stick to the ground, Ichigo put both hands forward.
'So I will take it head-on.'
Ichigo started to release all the positive energy he could, and the attack finally reached him and surprisingly, Ichigo wasn't destroy.
"AAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!"
Ichigo didn't back away, and it almost seems like purple wasn't affecting him, but if someone took a closer look, you could see his hands were getting destroyed and healed at incredible speeds.
"A LiTtle MoRE."
Ichigo was in so much pain he could speak properly but he didn't want to give up now.
'I can feel it, my positive curse energy is getting exhausted and my body is reaching its limits, just a bit more.'
It was visible to the human eye that his healing was getting slower if he didn't get out of the way soon, he could die.
'Just bit more just a bit just a bit more just a bit more just a bit more!!!.'
His fingers were gone and his palm where the only thing blocking the attack.
'A bit more a bit more a bit more'
Now his plans were gone, and the only thing left was his forearms.

"I-Ichigo!! That is enough!!! Get out of the way!!'
"N-no JuST A BIT MOREEEEE!!!!"
'Come on me, Come on, Kurosaki Ichigo, Your friend is getting worried.'
The attack already erased his forearms and reached his elbows.
'Didn't I say I was going to help that child!!!'
Purple hollow went pass his elbows.
'Remember that feeling, remember that white light!!!!'
His head was just a few centimeters away from the attack but suddenly.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!"
"What!!"
Gojo saw strange blue lines appear on Ichigo's body, they were appearing and disappearing until the lines marked themselves all over his body.
SWISH SWISH SWISH!!
"What is this?"
Gojo saw strange particles of light gathering where Ichigo was as if he was absorbing it.
"He is recuperating his positive energy?"
Ichigo's arms were starting to regenerate even faster than before. His eyes were shining blue.
"GOJO!!"
Putting one foot forward, mustering all the streng he could, Ichigo threw the attack back.
'He pushed back? ahahahaha Crazy, that just crazy, Ichigo!!!'
"It seems we are do-"
Gojo was going to step aside to dodge his own attack but saw Ichigo's face. He was looking at him, as if telling him 'One more time'
Smirk
"I have a crazy friend, you want me to throw the attack back? I don't know I I can't do that"
'But you just showed me something unbelievable, you repelled my attack, so If I cannot do the same, wouldn't I look like a weakling?'
"AH!! Fuck it!!! It's all or nothing!!!"
Gojo put his hands together and created another Hollow purple, but this one was bigger, stronger.
'Let's up even more juice into it.'
A hollow purple three times bigger than the last ones was unleashed and consumed the previous one, once more, the attack was heading towards Ichigo.
"What are you going to do, Ichigo?"
Ichigo didn't move, he was looking at the sky and the reishi was still coming towards him.
"Sigh"
He moved his hands, at first, they were in the same position, but he started to move one hand toward his chest, and an incredibly dense light appeared on his hands each seemingly trying to make something different, and something began to materialize.
In the next instant, Ichigo was holding a bow in his front hand, and the hand he was moving towards his chest was holding an arrow.
"Reverse curse technique: The King's bow and arrow"
And he unleashed the arrow towards the incoming attack.
SWIS!
The arrow met the erasing purple mass.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!
And a massive explosion was the result of the two attack hitting each other.
"HAHAHAHA, Yaga is going to have a piece of us."

I wanted to make the chapter a little longer so it took time.
Did you guys see the new JJK episode? It was crazy.

Chapter 21: Free
"The King's bow and arrow, what a cool name you came up with."
"Yeah, by the way, you would happen to have a technique that can fix the ground?"
"Nah."
"I see."
"...."
"Yaga is gonna kill us."
"No kidding."
Ichigo and Gojo were sitting on the ground, taking a small break after their fight, and they took the time to appreciate their handy work.
The impact of the attacks was significant, and a crater of 150 meters long appeared in the forest, not to mention the loud sound that was created.
"We should return to Shoko and Mechamaru and leave here."
"Yeah, why did you have to go and show off your new technique? Not that I mind, hahahahaha."
The two may make their way back. It took them seconds with their speed.
"We are back, honey. Is dinner ready?"
"Satoru!! Ichigo!! What in the world happened? We felt a considerable earthquake."
Shoko was unusually agitated, understandable, considering the great destruction that the two beings before her made.
"Satoru went crazy. Something about being the new king of curses or something."
"Ichigo, with our powers, no one can oppose us. Let's conquer this world and eliminate those lowly humans."
"Can you two stop fooling around and explain."
"What she said!! Didn't you say you weren't going all out?"
With his body shaking to the point where it seemed like he would break, Mechamru yelled at Ichigo and Gojo.
"Well, one thing led to another, and you know."
Scratching the back of his head, Ichigo told Mechamaru.
"As if!!!! Do you think I can read minds or something!!"
"hehehe, you are pretty lively for someone who is always in pain."
"Do you think this is the time to joke around? Gojo Satoru."
"It's always a good time to joke around."
"You tw-"
"Anyway, that is not important, I mean, look."
"Huh!!? As if.....I.. can...Kurosaki Ichigo.... is that?"
Standing in front of Mechamaru, Ichigo's body was glowing with blue lines on his body.
"Did..... you succeed?"
"Uh."
"D-does.....That mean.....I."
"We are about to find out. Are you ready?"
"YES!!!"
"I like your enthusiasm."
Without saying anything else, Ichigo got closer to Mechamaru, and stood by his side, kneeling at the same height.
"Before we begin, are you sure you want to do it? This may not work. It could make your condition worse for all we know."
Mechamaru looked at Ichigo with a gaze filled with determination but, more than anything, desperation.
"I understand, but just remember, we will be by your side no matter what happens."
No more words were needed.

Ichigo put his hand on Mechamaru's head and started to pump his new positive curse energy.
Slowly but surely, the energy started to cover his body.
"How does it feel?"
"Warm."
"I see."
'Now I need to sneak the energy into his body, slowly slowly.'
The energy around Mechamaru was getting absorbed into his body, his eyes twitched, and he started to tremble.
"Mechamaru!!"
"Don't stop!!!"
Mechamaru yell at Ichigo and looked at him.
"Please...don't...stop."
Ichigo looked at him with stunned eyes.
'You are obviously in so much pain, and it wouldn't be weird if you die, and yet you ask me to continue.'
Ichigo's energy output increased, and Mechamaru's body began to glow.
'I can't deny this kid's bravery.'
"AAAAAAH!!!!!!"
Mechamaru started to cry in pain, but.
'You still want to continue, right?'
Mechamaru's eyes were still screaming at him to continue.
'Still not enough. I need to concentrate, let my energy feel his soul.'
Suddenly Ichigo's blut vein started to spread around Mechamaru's body, going to the center of his chest.
"Shoko, what is that?"
"How should I know."
When the blut vein reached Mechamaru's chest, a strange symbol appeared on his chest; it resembled a seal.
"AAAAAAAAAH!!!!"
Mechamaru let out an ear-throbbing scream, and the entire room was illuminated with a bright blue light, and the symbol on his chest was torn apart.
Slowly, the light began to settle down, and everyone's eyes looked towards Mechamaru.
Smirk
"Congratulations Ichigo, you are the first person to break a heavenly pact, let's hope that god doesn't curse you."
As Gojo said, in the bathtub, there was a boy with long black hair, white skin, but most important of all.
"I am standing up."
Mechamaru was on his two feet.
"My skin doesn't hurt."
He touched his face and body. Then he realized something.
"My...arm."
"Congratulations, Mechamaru, you have obtained freedom."
"I am free from that curse.....I can go outside and not feel pain."
"Yeah."
"I can run with my legs."
"Yeah."
"I don't feel stabs in my pores."
"Yeah, so do you want to walk outside? See the sun while standing on your own legs?"
"Yes.... I want to do it."
Ichigo extended his hand towards him.
"Take my hand. You will have a hard time walking."
"Uh."
Mechamaru took Ichigo's hand and slowly stepped out of the bathtub and took his first steps.
"Careful, is the first time you use your legs."
Mechamaru was walking like a newlyborn deer, his legs trembling. If Ichigo didn't help him, he would fall.
'So you can smile like that.'
Ichigo looked at Mechamaru's face, he had a huge and blissful smile.
"Come on, the world is waiting for you."
Step Step Step
Mechamaru's uncoordinated and sloppy steps could be heard, and soon, they reached the door the led outside.
"You ready?"
"I don't know."
"Hmmm?"
"I am....scared.....What if this is just a dream? What if, the moment I step outside...I wake up?"
"Pfft"
"W-what is fun about this!!!?"
"Sorry, when We first met you, you were so stoic. You looked like a puppet yourself, but to think you were worried about that."
"I-I am serious here!!"
"I know, but don't worry, if you think this is a dream, that is okay."

Ichigo patted his head and continued walking, his hand touching the door.

The door was opening, and the sunlight was coming in.
"Because I will make sure that dream keeps going."
The door was open, and Mechamaru saw the outside, illuminated by sunlight.
"So, Kokichi, walk under the sunlight all you want."
Letting go of Ichigo's hand, Mechamaru took his first step under the sun.
