Chapter 22: Chapter 22: School Opening Incident

Everything had been peaceful for several days, everything was normal. It was as if the previously uneasy feelings completely evaporated. Today marked the end of the summer vacation, and everyone was welcoming the new semester.

Gu Fan packed his bag and hopped on his bike. While listening to music, he embarked on his journey back to school, considering how his long-lost classmates would spend their evenings.

After a half-hour ride, Gu Fan finally arrived at the university. He parked his bike and hurriedly headed to his classroom.

Lu Yi and Jie had already arrived. They beckoned Gu Fan over to a spot they picked near the corner and back door. Their intentions were clear. If the teacher was boring, they could skip out easily.

Gu Fan asked, "Great choice of seats. What are we doing later?"

Lu Yi replied, "The new students have already reported and completed their military training. The student union plans to hold a welcome party tonight. You should stick around."
