Marquis Mu touched her little face, whispering, "Xin He, I'm not going to give you the chance to leave me, not even a little bit."
Xin He had been sleeping lightly, and it seemed that his movements woke her up. With sleep in her eyes, she opened her eyes before clearly seeing the person in front of her and asked, "Are you back?"
Marquis Mu straightened the messy hair on her forehead: "Why did you fall asleep on the couch?"
"I wanted to wait for you. I got sleepy while waiting. Have you eaten? I was angry in the morning, but after a day, I had forgotten all about it. I was only concerned that you hadn't eaten when you left."
"I have eaten." Marquis Mu felt a warmth in his heart. He had never felt this kind of home warmth since he was a child. Coming home to someone waiting for him, someone who cared if he had eaten, was an experience he had never had.
The first day of their marriage was good, indeed.
"Xin He, we will leave tomorrow." Marquis Mu said.
