Chapter 45: ARE YOU CRYING?

As the players had expected, the person was indeed Axel, but something felt off about him. Their eyes widened in shock as, instead of being met with his friendly gaze, they were met with his deadly, red glowing eyes.

"Are we facing another monster, after fighting with zombies?" murmured Rosa under her breath as she swallowed hard. "Why do you have to call him, though?" she questioned, hitting Ave on the shoulder in frustration.

Meanwhile, Axel stood still, waiting for the players to come over as he felt hungry for flesh and thirsty for blood.

"Eat them," echoed a voice in Axel's head, and his gaze fixed on the other players, his eyes seeing them as prey meant to be feasted on. He soon moved his gaze towards Ave, could hear the sound of her heartbeat and the flow of blood in a vein from the long distance including the other players' own.
