Chapter 35: Confrontation
In the next few days, Jason sent some members of the Unbreakable Valor Brotherhood to secretly investigate the disappearance of their two brothers. Meanwhile, Mark continued to teach the others, slowly increasing their understanding of the moves and techniques.
Soon, they finally gained conclusive evidence that the Iron Fist Gang was responsible for the disappearance of their two brothers. This made everyone furious.
"Sir, we can't let this go! We have to bring them back! I can't imagine what those two are going through in the hands of those guys!" Someone shouted in agitation.
Jason furrowed his eyebrows. He was also enraged by their discovery. If not for the strict rules in the village, he would have already led his men to attack the Iron Fist Gang. "We naturally can't let this go, but we will offend Elder Victor if we cause a huge commotion in the village." He muttered while pinching his nose bridge.
The Unbreakable Valor Brotherhood and Iron Fist Gang had numerous secret battles in the past years, but both groups didn't dare fight in the open since this would thoroughly offend the village head. Jason knew that the elder was only pretending to be unaware of their conflict. However, once they disrupt the safety of the village, Elder Victor will definitely make a move.
Everyone became silent at his words.
As the village head, Elder Victor was also a powerful cultivator. Excluding Elder Wilcon, he was the strongest man in Greenwood Village! Although he had never shown his strength in public, no one dared to underestimate him.
Suddenly, they heard the sound of quick footsteps outside the house.
A few people arrived and they immediately reported with urgency. "Everyone! We saw them! They took our brothers outside the village! Those bastards are bringing them to the Enchanted Woodlands!"
Hearing this, the faces of Mark and the others fell.

The hunters shouted in rage.
Mark also clenched his fists in anger. When he was still a newbie, those two brothers were kind enough to give him food and supplies. He would never forget their kindness.
"Jason, we have to go now!" Kevin muttered in a cold voice as he abruptly stood up.
Jason nodded. He knew that this was a trap, but they could only jump into this trap to save their brothers. "Gather everyone! It's time to save our brothers!" He shouted as he grabbed his spear.
"Yes, sir!"
Jason led the group out of the village. The villagers didn't dare block their path when they sensed the heavy atmosphere around them.
Mark followed behind Jason. He couldn't wait to teach those bastards a lesson.
At this moment, Elder Victor sighed when he received the news about their actions. As the highest authority in the village, he has his way of obtaining information about the ongoing situations of the village. In truth, he was already aware of the recent kidnapping incident. He just didn't want to interfere in the affairs of the two groups. It might seem that he was being passive, but he also had to consider the safety of the village.
Thinking about this, Elder Victor shook his head. "Why did it have to reach this point? You two were so close back then…" He sighed once again.

Jason's group had already left the village. The gate guards didn't even dare ask where they were going when they saw their cold expression.
After they left, the gate guards and the villagers discussed.
"Are those two groups fighting again?"

"It looks like both groups are going all out this time."
"How about we go and watch?"
At this moment, Jason and the others had already discovered the members of the Iron Fist Gang in the distance.
"Sir, it's them!" Someone reported to Jason.
"I know." Jason narrowed his eyes.

Jason frowned as he inspected the surroundings. He felt that something was amiss. He turned his head and gave the order. "Larry, lead a team of five people to scout the path! There might be some hidden traps somewhere."
"Yes, sir!"
Hearing his words, the hunters no longer dared to rush forward.
"Do you think this is a scheme plotted by Arman?" Kevin asked in a low voice.
Jason nodded with a serious expression.
Suddenly, a mocking voice sounded in the distance. "Jason, your two brothers are in our hands! If you guys don't hurry up, we will feed them to the wild animals! Hahaha!"
Hearing this, Jason and the others became agitated.
"Dammit!" Kevin almost lost his composure. He grabbed his axe as he glared at the people in the distance.
While everyone was agitated, Mark carefully observed the surroundings. After becoming a Body Strengthening Third Level cultivator, his eyesight was improved. He could now see things more clearly.
He noticed that people were hiding behind the bushes and on top of the trees. Seeing this, he quickly rushed towards Larry and the others.
Jason and the other hunters were stunned when they saw this. "Wolf, what are you doing?!"
Mark ignored them and shouted at Larry's group. "Larry, come back here!"
"Hm?" Larry raised his head and stared at him in surprise. Just as he was about to say something, he suddenly heard rustling sounds coming from above.
"Enemy attack!" He shouted as he grabbed the guy beside him and rolled to the side.
The others also noticed the ambush, but they were a bit late.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Pu-chi! Pu-chi!
Two hunters were shot by multiple arrows, killing them on the spot. Another one managed to evade, but he was also shot in the shoulder.
"Argh!"
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Three more arrows shot towards the injured man.
"No!" Mark shouted in rage.
Pu-chi! Pu-chi! Pu-chi!
The man couldn't even dodge and was nailed to the ground.
Seeing this, Jason and the other hunters no longer hesitated. They angrily charged while raising their weapons in midair.
More arrows shot towards Larry and another hunter.

Larry's face fell and he instinctively raised his arms. Just as he thought that he would be a goner, a silhouette suddenly appeared in front of them.

Larry raised his head and saw Mark blocking the arrows with his shield.
"Wolf!" He heaved an internal sigh of relief.
Mark didn't turn around. He kept his eyes on the hidden enemies. His palms were covered in sweat.
"Ho! To think that there's actually another expert under Jason… Why don't you work for me instead?" A loud voice drifted into his ears.
A tall and muscular man with a braided rat tail suddenly came into the scene. He was holding a great sword that was almost taller than the average adult male. There was a faint smile on his face as he looked at Mark.
Jason stood beside Mark and glared at the man. "Keith!"
Hearing this name, Mark sized up the man. 'So this is the leader of the Iron Fist Gang. He does look impressive…' He thought.
