Chapter 32: Affiliation
Mark smiled at Kevin. This guy's mouth was hateful, but he was the most caring person in the group.
"Come at me, kid! Don't hold back your punches!" Kevin shouted as he wriggled his finger tauntingly.
Mark smiled as he adjusted his stance.
"What stance is that?"
"I don't know. This is the first time I've seen it."
The hunters discussed when they saw Mark's unique fighting stance.
Most of the hunters in the village are born from poor families. They didn't receive proper martial arts training. Their fighting skills were only gained through experience and real combat.
Mark wanted to give them a good impression of his strength. To win against a seasoned veteran like Kevin, he had to use the most powerful martial arts he knew and it was Muay Thai.
Kevin was also surprised by his fighting stance. 'Seems like this kid has some skills.' He thought to himself.
"Watch out, kid!" Kevin shouted as he initiated the fight.
Jason and the others excitedly watched the two. Some hunters even began to bet on who would win the spar.
"I'll bet 100 Orbes on Kevin."
"I'll bet 50 on Kevin."
"Then I'll bet 100 on Wolf." Max smiled as he joined the bet.
At this moment, Kevin had already punched more than ten times, but Mark managed to evade them without breaking a sweat. This was already enough to show that his physical prowess was comparable to a Body Strengthening Third Level cultivator.
Jason and the others were surprised to see Mark's successful evasions. His footwork and the defense looked very impressive. Kevin couldn't even hit him accurately.
While Kevin was throwing multiple punches and kicks, Mark was secretly waiting for an opening.
The opportunity came when Kevin missed a kick. Mark hopped to the side and kicked the back of Kevin's foot, making him lose his balance.
Kevin's eyes widened when he realized that he was falling to the ground.

Everyone turned silent when they saw Kevin fall into his ass.
The battle only lasted for slightly over a minute. Everyone thought that Kevin would win the fight since he was dominating at the start with his barrage of attacks. Mark was only defending and evading so no one thought that he would win.
"Thanks for letting me win." Mark chuckled at the dumbfounded Kevin. He then turned his gaze to Jason who was still in a state of shock.
"Kid, what fighting style was that?" Kevin's voice drifted into his ears.
Everyone curiously stared at Mark. They also wanted to know what fighting style he used. It looked very impressive. Every attack was calculated and lethal. There was almost no wasted movement.
"It's called Muay Thai." Mark replied as he went to help Kevin stand up.
"Good kid! You've hidden your skills well!" Kevin shook his head with a wry smile.
Meanwhile, Max was busy collecting his winnings from his bet with the hunters. He was even happier than Mark who won the spar.
"So you're really a Body Strengthening Third Level now. I'm happy for you." Jason smiled as he walked towards Mark and patted his shoulder.
"I just got lucky." Mark smiled and shook his head.
"Not everyone is as lucky as you." Jason chuckled at his words.
Max happily kept his winnings and walked towards Mark while smiling from ear to ear. "Yo, buddy! How about you teach us some moves?" He said jokingly while poking Mark with his elbow.
"Sure." Mark didn't mind teaching them some martial arts. These people taught him a lot of things when he was still a new hunter.
Max stared at him in surprise. "I'm just messing around. Are you really going to teach me?" Martial arts was sacred in their world and it couldn't be casually taught to anyone.
"Not just you. I will also teach everyone." Mark smiled.
Max and the other hunters were pleasantly surprised. They had seen his Muay Thai and it was an excellent martial art. They thought that it was impressive and they didn't expect that Mark was actually willing to teach it to them.
"But is it alright for you to teach us your martial arts?" Max asked worriedly. They heard that most of the powerful martial arts were kept confidential and those who spread them without permission would be punished.
"That's right, kid. There's no need for you to teach us your moves." Kevin patted his shoulder.
The others also expressed similar views.
Mark felt happy that everyone was concerned about him. "There's no need to worry, everyone. In the place where I came from, everyone is free to learn Muay Thai regardless of their status or identity. There won't be any consequences. You guys can rest assured."
"Are you sure?"
"Of course." Mark nodded his head.
"Great!" Max laughed joyfully upon hearing his words. The others were also happy.
"How about we start now?" Mark stared at the hunters.
Everyone nodded eagerly. This was a chance to formally learn martial arts!
Jason and Kevin who were resistant to him joining their fight against the Iron Fist Gang no longer persuaded him. He had already proven himself and they didn't want to disrespect Mark's choice.
"Is it alright to call the others? We will also tell you more about our brotherhood. If you want, you can become an official member." Jason said. He was looking forward to seeing everyone in his group learning Muay Thai. Perhaps in two weeks, their combat skills would improve.
"Sure, no problem." Mark agreed without hesitation. He was also curious about their brotherhood. Is it the same as the brotherhoods in the real world or is their objective different? Mark wanted to know more.
Jason was happy that he agreed. He then told the hunters to gather the members of their brotherhood.
Soon fifty people gathered outside Jason's home. When they learned that Mark wanted to join them and that he was already a Body Strengthening Third Level cultivator, everyone was pleasantly surprised. They had a good impression of him so they didn't mind him joining their brotherhood. They were also eager to learn his martial arts which the others said was powerful.
On that day, Jason and the others told Mark about the brotherhood. According to them, the group was founded by Jason and Keith. Their main objective was to get rich together while also helping the village maintain its peace. It was a very simple goal, but it kept these people together.
Mark officially became a member of our brotherhood.
