When I got home no one was home it was so quiet I got to my room change into some jogging pants and a big t shirt I looked on my phone nothing from James I put on some shoes and went to his apartment since at home it was boring and I didn't feel comfortable being alone when I got there he was at home only find Emily who was looking for him also
"He is not here" she said she was at the door but since I had the keys unlocked but he was not inside and it was clean as if no one lives here "maybe he is at the office " I said
" he isn't there and he is not picking up his phone " Emily told me usually this is not James if there is something I know about him it's him and his phone he never refuse to pick up
When I tried calling him it went straight to a voicemail
"Maybe he is busy with something " I tried not to think of it just for Emily but I could tell that James changed a lot these days but I didn't want to think about it but it was scaring me
" I could use a drink " I suggested to Emily I needed to forget all these at least for a night
" I thought you would never ask let's go baby " she bliss with happiness and we left but before we could get there we first pass at Emily's apartment we changed into something great I was wearing a tight red dress which covers my ass only with bare back Alice came to us and we all took a taxi together since we were planing on getting drunk it wasn't a good idea to drive ourselves
We got to the club and thanks to Emily's boyfriend Davis we got inside without passing on the line and goes straight to the VIP
"Shot babe shot" Alice shouts I could tell she was drunk already it's been our fourth round
"Let's dance " Emily suggested I first finish my glass I could feel it down on my throat we went on the dance floor and lose our minds in the music one man hold me from behind I didn't care who it was and shake my hips against him we dance for a long time I could tell I was drunk I went for another drink that man offered me
"I could take a beautiful woman like you to a quiet place" he suggested but I just throw the whole glass he bought for me at once laughed at him " never baby boy"
We went back to the private room due to Davis it wasn't good to be in public while drunk like that I lay my head on the sofa I could feel the world spinning
I woke up on Saturday having the worst headache of my life I sit up to find am laying in James's bedroom I got to the bathroom feeling dizzy after doing my business I come back lay my head down closing my eyes
"Finally you woke up" James said I could tell from his voice that he was angry "Leila I warned you about being drunk in public like that what were you thinking " he yelled at me
"James can we do this later please " I told him facing the other side coved my self and close my eyes to sleep James goes out and comes back minutes after " take this it will help you with the headache " he gave me two pills and a glass of water I took them and fall a sleep directly after that
I woke up in the evening James was sitting next to me on his laptop my stomach hurts like hell I run to the bathroom room vomits everything out James came after me holds my hair out
" take this " he gave me some water and lay down for a bit
" you shouldn't have done what you did last night " James comments I just ignore him kept quiet
He made me something to eat I was quite the whole time I went to the kitchen sit down and eat even though I had no appetite but I tried to take some after that I took a shower
" are you planning on ignoring me the whole time Leila am the one who is supposed to be mad going to sleep and waking me at 2 in the morning to come pick you up isn't fair at all and you are here ignoring me acting mad as if it's my fault " he said running his hands in his hair" I thought you were at home sleeping only to find out you passed out in a club full of men do you have any idea of what could have happened to you last night"
"Thanks for picking me up last night " I said sitting down wondering what I was going to wear
"That's all you could say not even apologizing " he reminds me I face him "am sorry James "
"What a hell is you problem " he asked
"James you don't care at all so don't bother i won't disturb your sleep if that the problem "
"Who said I don't care "
"James you changed a lot you not talking to me I call you don't pick up you are not at the office or at your apartment you don't read my messages anymore I feel like am losing it and if you had picked my calls maybe you would have known what was going on in my life " I muttered in a low voice but from his look I can tell that he heard me
"Leila "
"You are not the same I don't know what's happening but I can keep up with it yesterday I come looking for you here since you weren't picking up my calls you weren't home I asked Emily she told me she is not getting you either I was going crazy so I thought I could use a drink " I explained tears forming in my eyes he pulled me into a hug
"Am sorry babe it's just I was lost in work finding the mole in the company and I ignored you I really didn't mean it am so sorry " he apologized I hugged him back and cried slowly
